Holy that fight was SO COOL, and the fact it wasn't even the grand finale is insane. Mihoyo went full anime on us, and I am loving the story of Genshin Impact.
They def made the story one easier than the weekly reset battle.....

I almost lost the first time because I was simping too hard over his Foul Legacy transformation... This video is a mood.

This first time I battled him I did lose
Granted I was on my friends account and I didn’t know how to plan attacks with her party and I believe it was like a domain battle so I heard those were harder
But like I was to focused on his foul legacy to notice that all my characters were dead til he killed albedo :(((

Lol I beat him on my first try before they buffed him as a boss, ngl it was pretty fun cause I’m a f2p and I didn’t have any good equipment
They nerfed the main story boss fight after a lot of players complaining that it is too hard and they couldn't progress the story. That's why the domain fight is tougher than the main story version.
That makes a ton of sense

@@tetsuyakuroko6763 he's just like the wolf and the dragon, you should be fighting him every weak. He drops talent materials for Diona, Childe, Zhongli, Xinyan, Albedo, Ganyu and Xiao
I wish I read it before doing Stormlair's Dvalin, I thought he was easy as the story, but he end up annihilating my team, I only have 1 character alive and my revive is in cooldown. I think I just got lucky that time
You know what? In hindsight, his assumption that you took the gnosis makes sense. The Traveler had been using Anemo the whole fight, but just before Childe tried to steal the gnosis, he saw the Traveler also use Geo. Since he wouldn’t know the traveler doesn’t need a vision, it makes sense for him to assume the only way he is using 2 elements is with the gnosis.
Yeah he has ever right to be sus, especially with us having him figured out in fatui investigations.
He literally went all Thor when he summoned back his weapon.

He used to be as hard as he is outside story, but yeah, they definitely nerfed his story fight way too much. There should be at least some challenge for the first fight! I wanna see people struggle against him lol
Whenever I co op I always have to solo cause ppl just try to obliterate him with their 5 stars and die instantly
Yall complaining that childe doesn't use foul legacy transformation. But he injured that form in the initial battle and made it worse in the story quest. Going into foul legacy form is dangerous for him so lorewise it makes sense that he doesn't transform in game
True and we still don't know the exact recovery time and burden it takes on his body exactly
Could be limited uses in his entire life
Or just a long cooldown timer. But still feel like they can work it in
Xiao is a good example of having a ult constantly burn away and than requiring to switch out and heal before he can enter it again.
But for all we know Foul Legacy could be even more brutal

Also, i know that's what helped me clear him in a day in-story, buT IM SO ANGY THAT THEY NERFED MY BOI LIKE THAT. He can clear 5 ruin guards in 5 seconds but my chicken armed MC comes into the golden house and suddenly its u//w//u *punches you gently* that shit set my low expectations that just- got one-shoted the moment i came back and ate electrified dirt

I was lucky to defeat him in first try (before the nerf). He was so hard to beat, my team almost died 😂 he was the most challenging boss ngl
Childe needs an 2 more skills electro form and foul legacy transformation but only activates everytime childe goes down by 50 and for the last 25% hp
6:26 thats exactly my experience. On the story fight i beat him with no problems but when i had to grind him for his talent level up materials he beat my add

So I was one of the players that fought him before they downgraded him, no zhongli either. Oh my god that was the hardest fight I’ve ever participated in. I would recommend trying it if the settings still stayed. It’s hard.

The best thing about this is unreal dreamer actually does not curse like 5 times in every sentence so I can peace fully watch his videos 😇👍
Can we get another version of childe in a banner? Make him use polearm instead of a bow. Make him electro and the elemental burst as his final form but for a short amount of time.
While we're at it, can we change his bow form burst to that giant fucking whale he flings at us?

I don’t see a problem as long as the weekly boss remains hard, then the players who want a challenge can still go against him but people who just want the story don’t have to go insane lol
@@artemismoon6688 + Again, my opinion, but it feels that by nerfing him they really took out the feel of the story at the moment, like a kid at the playground building sandcastles while the others are making toy robots. There was no sense of accomplishment, it just felt like "Oh, that's cool.... So that's it? " Still one of the best fights in the game

this guy used hydro and electro 💀 two of the worst elements to use against him, he unleashes an incredibly strong counter attack against you when he has his shield up and you use either of the corresponding elements
