    IW '23 field isn't exaclty the strongest, but what players would you like to see video of?

      Elena Rybakina is my favorite. Ruusuvori, Sinner. If you can upload longest practices and less gameplay it would be my best preference.

    The drills looked soooooo much better than how he did with nishioka or even all his matches this season. You can hear the effort from his grunt how much more hes putting into the shots. Plus seeing the ball exploding off the court and his racquet. Damn i miss seeing him hit like that in matches

    • @alanchong7513
      @alanchong7513 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, but practice and matches are very different. There's tension in matches. In practice, you can swing away freely.

      yup basically halfway between western and semi-western. Minimum has to be semi-western for players under 6 feet. On his backhand, he consistently hits it on the rise though. Must be hell to time it like that all the time.

      @dustyroot4708 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      There’s a great video on Star Tennis Academy (if you don’t mind subtitles) where he talks about intentionally hitting he backhand flat. It’s a good compliment to his loopy forehand. Kyrgios and Norrie are similar in their approach too. It doesn’t allow the opponent to get a good rhythm.

    i am no coach but it looks like Thiem's shots are light, not pushing his opponent back, its like they lack weight and spin. Maybe its because his injury so he doesnt accelerate as much as before.

      Thiem’s forehand is definitely not as heavy as it was pre-injury. He still plays so deep, but just can’t seem to hit through anyone anymore. Hopefully it comes back with more time, one of my favorite players.

      Wow... I read a few days ago, Dominiс said that he does a lot of positive things during the practices, 15 minutes of watching this, and so many mistakes from the forehand, and again this running around a couple of meters behind the base line, the meaning of which is not very clear, when you look at results of his matches.
