The Route 278 visual filmed by Ultradude973 offers a unique chance to have a front view chance of the Route 278. Ranging from Ruislip, to Heathrow Central in the west via Ickenham, Hillingdon, Uxbridge Road, Hayes, Harlington Corner, and Heathrow North. The amount of soul heart and effort into this is incredible as we view throughout the video we see the stop names, stop number and any interchanges as well as road names throughout helping anyone whom may be wondering where we are in the visual, know where they are. This is by far the most detailed visual I have watched yet. As a local - I can say, the 278 appears to be a success despite tight running times, but in terms of the visual here in question - we can see the route is perfectly used and the buses are lovely. @@CS_22 I live on Uxbridge road. I had to either get the 427 which wasnt amazingly frequent, or the H98 which was already busy and then change to the 140 at some point. This is just direct now :)
What's the point if the route doesn't go to an exclusive area? Did people just want a direct route from Ruislip to the airport? It's not just the 278 that goes from Hayes to Heathrow... loads of routes do

You could’ve got the Piccadilly line then changed at Acton. Bit of a chore, but easily done.

Won't be the same without 140 running to Heathrow as that's what made the route very long with a 12 miles distance
