I was proud to be the second person to "like" your Day 9 video, then after watching had to rush to a Saturday appointment, thus my very late comment. First, I love how you color-coordinate your pens and notebooks (and other things on your desk) in so many of your videos. So thoughtful (and artistic). Speaking of art: your painting is quite good, and few people would notice what to you is a glaring error. I think it's yummy. Painting with ink isn't easy. So glad you didn't throw it out! Thanks for another great Invent day.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy the ink paintings... for me, my enjoyment depends pretty heavily on how close the end result is to what I had in my mind when I started, and this one was not close at all :-) Thanks for sticking with my videos!
I think this is the first ink out of this Inkvent that I'm really enjoying and will end up getting a full bottle of. I'm always a sucker for a nice grey ink and the choice of shimmer hits that "moon" theme really well for me. Thank you for the video again! And I actually really liked your painting! Wish I could get a print of it that would still hold the shimmer. Oh well. Merry Christmas!
As always, awesome video. I'm glad more paintings are making it to the videos. I don't paint but I'm sure it takes a while so thank you taking the time and sharing with us. 16 more days to go!!
I'm thrilled. I love green. I don't see very well so it's nice it's dark enough to read comfortably. I've been feeling a bit left out of all these nice foggy inks that are so popular now, and this is close enough. I'm getting a tiny purple shift to the shimmer which is cool.
Madness was the order of the last four days, so I had to catch-up. Great job BTW. Moon Beam was interesting and rather remote from what I was expecting, which was to be light and frothy. Not deep and somber like it revealed. Ha-ha. Might make a good ink for writing a seasonal ghost story.
I really really like this one! I have liked a few of the others as well but I could see myself getting a bottle of this down the road. Thanks for sharing these Invent inks with us, I just love your calm nature and voice!
Love your beautiful painting! ❤ I just can't resist Diamine's Chameleon inks. I've been using them non-stop for months now and don't see me stopping any time soon.
Love me a gray (or is it grey) ink! I am very selective when it comes to glitter ink choices, but I can see myself purchasing this one for sure. I thought your painting was lovely...
Maybe in person there would be a difference, but this looks identical to Diamine's Solstice that was in the Blue Inkvent. Same dark gray leaning to green with greenish sparkles.
Thanks! I do pretty well when I have time and space to write... pretty ugly otherwise. My cursive is actually not terrible, either, but I discovered early on in the life of this channel that there are a lot of younger viewers who can't read cursive, so I stick with printing most of the time. And it shades better 🙂
It's pretty to look at, just too masculine for my taste, but your paintings never disappoint...I'm a professional artist, have been for twenty-something years...and would love to see more if you have the time or mood, or just a final pan of them in the last video, like you do with the bottles :) You make the BEST quality inkvent videos each year.
Very sci-fi ink. I'm glad you kept your drawing!

Like the painting very much.I am glad you didn't throw it out. Enjoy the paintings that you do with the inks out of the inkvent calendar.
Thanks Bruce 🙂
I'm glad you showed us your drawing, too! It looks almost like a moonlit night where the moon is setting...

If you want the original, just email me your address 🙂I probably won't keep the painting, otherwise. matthew@thewetpen.com
I love your sketch 😊…. That ethereal greenish / grey is perfect for the scene

Yeah I was about to say...it looks alot like that stag beetle ink color....but with beautiful shimmer. I absolutely love this one!!
I thought this one was pretty cool too 🙂

Your "...didn't turn out as well as I had hoped" painting would be my masterpiece if I had painted that! 😂
Nice…like the painting…cool where the shimmer ended up…😊

There aren't many glittery inks that I really love, but I do enjoy this one 🙂
Love your beautiful painting! ❤
I just can't resist Diamine's Chameleon inks. I've been using them non-stop for months now and don't see me stopping any time soon.
Thank you :-) I still don't use them much, but at least I'm finally figuring them out.
Thanks for the review. I didn't know if this was a grey ink or a dark green. It is a very interesting color and ink.
Yes, I call it a grey, but it's definitely on the green side.
I like this color! The second color for the chameleon shimmer is a pink.
Thanks! I still haven't taken the time to play with these chameleons to see the colors, but I'm glad to hear that other people are :-)
I love greenish grey inks and probably have too many but will keep an eye out for the full bottle of this one, though it leans a little dark.

Thanks Tina 🙂 I've really found myself using grey inks more and more over the past couple of years, too.

You have perfect printing

Don’t apologize for the sketch, it’s fine, and yes I too love grey inks, glitter unnecessary, but not objectionable either.

Thank you, Timea 🙂 As it gets closer to Christmas, time starts getting short for making these videos, so we'll see what I can manage!
Use pieces of salt to gain white on watercolor paper?
Oh... I think I've heard of that before, but never would have thought of it while working on one of these things myself 🙂
Hey, is that ASA Nauka pen?
Nice ink colour.
See you tomorrow.
Yes it is 🙂 One of my favorites.
