I sometimes feel like it takes more wins to demote Knee than with other players. Shaheen had a bunch of matches over it and took a 5 and 3 to get him to a demotion match lol. Now Lowhigh is the highest ranked player ;)
I have a question for anyone who is knowledgeable about the game. Ducking isn't safe in this game but I never see it get punish even by these pro players is there a reason why they don't punish ducking?
+nelly ville For starters, ducking is not necessarily unsafe. You duck highs in a string, duck to block sweeping lows, duck to setup while rising launches, fuzzy guard duck to get out of string pressure, duck to poke low and interrupt, etc. As for punishing duckers, there's no real black and white way to punish someone who's ducking because normally they'd be fuzzy guarding to some degree. So they wouldn't entirely just commit to staying crouched for an extended period of time. I mean, you can attempt to launch them or hit them with a damaging mid, but chances are your launcher will get blocked and punished, etc.
+nelly ville On a different note, the players probably are getting "punished" for ducking, pretty much anytime that a mixup lands would count. From a neutral game perspective, anytime a stray mid hit lands would count. But there's rarely if ever a clear cut, punished for ducking moment.
