- After 2 and a half years, I finally had the opportunity to return to the skies during a vacation to Europe at the end of May 2022 and you know what that means? New Flight Experiences of course! This flight brought a few firsts for me: my first flight on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and my first flight with Etihad Airways! Enjoy!

I ride Etihad when I go to Europe Etihad is perfect for long haul flights😊
Last year in June 2022, I rode Etihad Airways from Singapore to Washington DC to visit my relatives and my cousins there.
Cool!
But surprisingly, the aircraft from Singapore to Abu Dhabi was a 787-10

I flew from Dublin to Abu Dhabi, to Singapore back in September. It was my first time flying more than 3 hours in my life 😅 I was so excited! Etihad was amazing for all flights going back too. The only thing I question is why didn’t I also receive the toothbrush/eye mask sleeping kit? I flew back at night too 🥲
Hello, Can someone tell me if it is possible to fold the armrest in the Economy Class in a 787-9 ?
Hi are they strict with checked baggage. Would they allow for 2-3kg over. What about the 7kg carry on rule
Depend more on the staff who check you in to be honest. Most full service carriers don't really restrict their check-in staff so it's really up to them to decide. I have once got through with 5+kg of extra luggage with some sweet talk. On the other hand, paid extra for 700g of luggage once. Hope this help

I’m not sure what reviews you’ve read, but based on 4 flights thus far with Etihad, I’d say it’s a 8/10 airline.
