They are French Old Guard......best soldiers during the Napoleonic War, but why these Old guard looks so weak and sucks, they lost most of the battle......Old Guards need buffs!!!!🥲🥲🥲
To be honest old guards were not exactly the best unit. When warfare is judged by cannons and bullets rather than swords and pikes, quality somewhat becomes irrelevant. Surely they were great, but Napoleon wanted his old guards more like a ceremonial guard for rest of the army to follow rather than purely "best warriors". Again of course they were incredible - like their last stand against the allied forces in waterloo but again - bravery , morale and quality can do too little against cannons as Napoleon himself said.
For the love of God, someone please tell the devs to buff the guard grenadier!!!! Having to revolt 2 times to have 10% more resistance and more melee damage (which is practically useless) is the dumbest thing ever, but that’s aoe3 balance in a nutshell 💀💀💀
Estos granaderos deberían actuar como Granaderos Gigantes, mas caros y lentos de producir pero con daño de mosquete y área, son la Vieja Guardia e históricamente hicieron verdaderas matanzas en combate.
I've not really seen grenadiers too much, how are they countred at range? Then I would imagine for alternate French Revolutions these guys are horrid & even for regular French into Age V they won't do well later on... Makes the Edict of Nantes Church card just really not useful - even in the 1 revo France route (given the increased building wood costs).
@@kaansenyavuz7761 I'm trying to get Canadian Militia units improved (e.g. 4 range like those ridiculous marines)... the bonus damage against siege units & all. But yeah I'm seeing Samby with the Young, Middle & Old Guards now, but that's people not respecting it completely (not knowing it well enough I suspect). At the time I just kept seeing random civs like China with the new Hand Mortar buff & U.S.A. with Marines as I mentioned seem overly capable of dealing with these types of units, but heavy cav are too difficult if they're Gren, Musk, Falc essentially.
Russian, british , france, ottoman must be the top grenadiers…..ottoman and british are top 2, Russian is moderate even if have guard special upgrade and name……france is even worse situation lol….😢
But Russians generally have worse units. So you probably won't play Russians for grenadiers, but you should think about grenadiers when playing Russians.
Why didn't you make them all same population as grenaders are 2 population and fire throwers are also 2 population? Same population vs same population is the best way to determine which unit performs better against the same population unit. Making a same population unit fight against more makes it unbalanced and inaccurate.
It’s not really inaccurate, since cost efficiency is very important when players have similar economy, whereas population efficiency matters more in the late game or when you have lower eco than your opponent. Also, even if it was 57 French grenadiers vs 40 fire throwers they would still demolish the French ones, since their rocket attack deals bonus damage vs all infantry
@@MatheusAlves-nc6iz but it does matter if you are comparing units against each other that take up same population. Cost effiency is a different comparison than comparing a unit against another unit.
@@MatheusAlves-nc6iz then there should be seperate videos doing comparison of cost efficiency and seperate ones comparing the actual unit against another with same population.

6:20 are you telling me that the Young Guards that the Chinese get from France are stronger than the grenadiers that France trains? 😂😂😂
I'm not saying it, the developers are saying it. 😀😀
Nah not really, export is incredibly difficult to mass produce and the calculations were based on food and coin
Plus chinese has some good buffs for arty and Grenadier troops
As nowadays the best production always go to exports😂
Ottomans being balanced, as always.
