Such beautiful work, beautiful pieces! These may be out of my price range, so interesting to see the work and thought that goes into them, and to admire from afar the final product.
They said why in the video - They thought his presence drew focus away from Frodo and that without it Frodo looked even more alone and vulnerable, which was the whole point of the scene in the movie. They also said that some people working on the statue thought it should have stayed so there was even a difference of opinion within the design team. So you have every right to disagree with their design choice, but at the end of the day it's the artist who gets to choose what the sculpt just like you get to choose whether the exclusion of the fallen king statue is enough to stop you buying it. :)
