People are always complaining about how IVE’s comebacks are single albums, but if you think about it they come back usually around every 4 months, which is faster than most girl groups have a comeback. I do agree that them having a mini album would be nice, but you have to think about how active they are, and how amazing every single IVE song is, and it would be hard to find like 6 amazing songs and filming an MV within 4 months. I think most DIVES would take 2 songs every 4 months from IVE rather than waiting a whole year for a mini album, also this is a smart move from the company as their activity keeps them popular and every song being amazing keeps the fans interested. IVE fighting!!

I'm not going to lie, part of why Ive is so successful is that they are releasing banger after banger. I think companies are focusing too much on edgy concepts when all we want is good music with a sound concept. Also, they aren't relying on tik-tok style choreography and while their music is catchy, you actually don't get tired of it quickly. I hope Starship keeps up the good work because from what I can see, Ive will easily surpass some of the existing ggs in many ways.

By making the song beautiful and unique, just like the original. 'After Like' is my favorite IVE comeback yet. I was a little worried because they were sampling such an iconic song, but they did so much better than any of us could have ever imagined. I'm so proud of the girls

@@farahadibah6756 not specifically blackpink but most groups have this "formula" in their songs. IVE also uses a formula but it's on the production, lyricist, choreographers, etc. not the sound of the song itself.
But that's mean that groups nessacarily need to change concept all the time I personally prefer a group to remain with a concept which they excute in different manner
@@subhabaskaran1849 that's exactly what IVE is doing. They have this "chaebol" concept where everything feels luxurious and elegant but the songs they put out don't sound the same. Even their bsides don't sound the same. I know they just have 6 songs but still I like how each song has its own identity and not called "xx 2.0". Of course I know songs being similar is inevitable since there's limited sound producers can produce (? hope this makes sense 😂) but right now, I'm loving the variety of music IVE gives.
@@wishwand7261 agree. I dont think in this comeback Ive necessarily changed their image, they're still the same Ive from their Eleven era that I know, but the concept of the music that's changed. The sounds among Eleven, LOVE DIVE, and After Like have their own unique characteristics, but the image of Ive remains. Blackpink however is constant, I think right after they released the HYLT almost all of their songs sound the same. Pink Venom to me is either HYLT 2.0 or Ddu-ddu-ddu 2.0.
This has potential to become a worldwide hit. Never underestimate the power of a beloved brilliant sample mixed with the genius composition. Add on catchy wholesome lyrics throw in fantastic singing and somecreative dancing. and you got a masterpiece. Somebody is smiling. This took years to execute and the moment has arrived.

Starship really hits the jackpot with IVE! Three releases in a row and not even once I've been disappointed. All three single eps were bops! They still have a long way and i hope the agency will put maximum effort to polish their potential.
as a person who follows other groups from the same company I can definitely say Starship puts their A-game to make IVE the superstars of their generation.
They know these girls will bring the cash in.
@@robinchrisb_ It was a very safe bet for Starship to go all in with IVE. They knew they had two stars coming back who already had large followings and would give the group a huge head start compared to most new girl groups. Also, they were effectively veterans who could give their new group a big edge when it comes to all the nerves that rookie groups usually have and that often take a year or more to settle. So even as rookies, the group would look more like veterans. Yujin and Wonyoung were with a new group, but radio interviews, magazine shoots, MV filming, CF filming, music shows, variety shows, and reality shows were all old hat for them. They could prepare their members beforehand knowing inside info from experience, which makes it so much easier to go on a show. I know some folks were upset that IZ*One wasn't extended, but I can't blame Starship for wanting Yujin and Wonyoung back at the end of the 2-1/2 year deal they had signed up for. The fee they would have received from CJ E&M for an extension would likely be nothing compared to what this group is earning, and Yujin's and Wonyoung's individual earnings on top of that.
IVE's success could actually benefit their sibling groups in that when they maybe hype WJSN, Cravity, or Monsta X they maybe point some new fans at those acts who go check them out who might not have before. Also it brings attention to the company and some people will discover those other acts while looking up IVE on Starship's channel.

The sampling of I Will Survive is so genius. It's such an iconic song that everyone knows, even if you don't know the name or the singer, you KNOW the song. Ive brings it back to life with a modern taste while still paying homage to the original and as a result this feels so new yet so nostalgic at the same time. This will be their biggest hit yet just from the sampling itself

@@foreverarmy941 No because in this case they borrrowed only a snippet of the instrumental. Nothing else resembles the song like the lyrics are completely different and the raps, progressions. It's still its own song. Just like After School by Weeekly, it's sampled from an Ava Max song yet the two give different vibes:))

For me this song is not like those noisy gg songs that are getting so popular these days.
It's really engaging and does not require tedious energy to stream. It's pleasent everytime one hears it. I may not be a dive yet but I love all of their music. They are just so different. Hats off to the producer.
