    Interest rate is cost of money, it works like friction that helps grow or move forward. But if friction is very high it consumes more than benefiting.

The average inflation during the 10 year of Congress rule (from 2004-2013/14) was higher than the average inflation rate of of the current government in the last 10 years. So why are you complaining now ? I am guessing you complained then too because the inflation was so high ?
