Hey Ross, thanks for the report. Can’t wait to hear “the bite is on”, but I am concerned about weird weather impact on this year’s Spring time. At least no more rain dancing.
Ross, Fished bankers hours Thursday (11-3:30) and blanked. I imagine there is an early and late window. Not much bait to be found for me. Down south was a ghost town. Beautiful flooded wonderland this spring. I think people will need have a flipping stick in their hand this year and fish places they have never fished. Thanks for the report! G dawg looks pretty darn happy out there. Next week he will need some shade :)
Beautiful day on the lake Thursday, but I wasn't as fortunate as you and G, I blanked. Waiting for the family to wake up so we can head out and try again today. So great to see the lake so high. Monitor island is floded!
Like always, thanks for the report. I haven't launched my boat yet. I'm waiting on some warmer weather and water temps. It's been a cold spring. I really appreciate your reports. Pat
Thanks Ross, Hopefully the fishing is good because I’m coming up next week. May I ask what you used for crappie and bass. Just need to get a good idea what to use. Thanks! Stay safe.
Being that I live 1 block from the lake how could you say it was a bad week? THE LAKE IS FULL !!!! I can't get my boat in shape fast enough! Thanks for the report.
Hey Eric. It has been inaccessible the last two years due to low water. Now it might be dicey getting in or out if the wind comes up due to bridge clearance. It’s a flipper’s paradise. You can’t sight fish in there. I’ve fished it to the sluice gate (pretty much the end) on the western side and the end of the Eastern branch. Just guessing but there will probably be trees down that may block getting thru and if it is a windy day, watch yourself for falling trees. Those fish tend to live in there as opposed to moving in and out of there. It’s tough fishing in there due to it being hard to get a bait back to the bank. Wish I could give you a better answer.
Tanks for posting your fishing 🎣 videos tanks for your Reports and your time

Wow! 49 degree water temp at the end of March. Incredible. Fish might be spawning into June.
Thanks Ross
For sure. There were spawners into late June last year too

Oh I know Chris. Very happy the lake has filled, just wanting better weather to maximize the opportunities!!
Thanks for the report. I'm coming this weekend to fish. Is the crappie biting?
It’s improving.
Quick question from a non local.... Is rodman slough a decent spot to find pre spawn or spawning bass? If so how far up the slough is worth exploring?

Spoiled for sure!
What state you in?
Northern California.
Northern California.
Get rid of all those bed fishermen who keep bass for a chance at money and you'd truly see the potential that lake posesses!
That’s a popular thought.
