First off I have been watching your Chanel for a very long time. Your wellness videos are a blessing. You seem to intuitively at times do them when they really help. I have a performer you might enjoy. His name is Darren Allen. He is from Pennsylvania. Classically thought and trained in France, as I have heard. I have bought virtually all of his listings. Thank you for your videos; because they are well received by me.
Fantastic video as per usual and especially as I love Iris too. Some fantastic fragrances mentioned, definitely a few I need to get my nose on. Some i would like to mwntion myself would be Belle Ame - Les Abstraits, Cuir D'iris - Atelier Materi, Volutes EDP - Diptyque and Florentine Iris - Ermenegildo Zegna. If you havent gor your nose on them, would definitely advise to check them on Fragrantica.
I definitely agree with you on the Dior Parfum. I blind bought it due to the hype and i wasn't impressed at all. Ive worn it 1x and its aight. Definitely prefer the intense version.
Just wanted to say thanks for your review of Bon Parfumeur 903 a few years back. I found an awesome cyber monday deal on it and splurged on 100mls. Great channel, too; subbed!
@@QuestioningScents I actually blind bought it! Just came in today and it's truly fabulous. Your review was spot on! It reminds me a bit of Comme Des Garcons 8 88, but much more naturalistic and mature.
It's not often said but I completely agree with you - Dior Homme parfum is over-rated. It's nice enough sure, but some of the eulogising that goes on really seems over the top
@@QuestioningScents Don't sweat it. I totally know what you mean. It's a fabulously blended fragrance, but once you start delving into hardcore natural perfumery, it suddenly becomes less fabulous. Still, that element of fantasy is what makes this art form so brilliant. 💜 It's the emotional involvement that can sometimes get us into trouble. 😉
Matt what do you think of Francesca Bianchi stuff? I ask because alot of her stuff has a buttery, iris/orris and animalic backbone and I just bought Dark Side
dude, i'm enjoying that you're back posting regular new content
Thanks buddy , its good to be back , missed you all

Iris is one of my favorite notes, so I'm very interested in trying some of these. Thanks, Matt!

Treachery Extrait de Parfum × 1
50 mL
Legato Extrait de Parfum (Limited Edition) × 1
Which one is your favorite???
Just been sampling Les Abstraits - Belle Ame. Beautiful sweet, nutty iris.
Where did you get your t-shirt? Did you make it yourself?
Ah yes that one sounds good , the shirt was a custom job , my Sons idea. I must say I rather like it
Get out your DHP torches and pitchforks!! 👨🌾😡🤣🤣🤣 Well played on Reserve Prive Matt. And props on L'Attesa. Probably is up there for me too. 💜
I'm mentally preparing for the dreaded DHP backlash, its inevitable 😂

I like what I have sampled buddy . I have Etruscan Water and love that one
I need to come back to Bois d’ argent cause last time I tested it I couldn’t smell a bloody thing! 😐
Sadly that's quite common, it's a shame as it's such a beautiful perfume
