For a 84 Monte that is yellow, she is not so mellow for she performs like a kid that she still is, the pull to the right is a front end alinement, speedo, is from tire and rim over size from the original size that it came with, so that tells you of what is going on there, the paint is true, but it has been repainted once and you can see this by the inside of the trunk of the car. But still the paint was not done wright, but I see her as she is and still worth the money that you see here today and at 40 years old who the hell could go wrong, very nice price for sure.
Love the outside of this one. If it were mine: Change the interior to something more fitting with the Yellow, 5-Speed manual conversion, then its *chefs kiss*.
The interior doesn't look original, some were made with the 60/40 bench and column shift but not in the 83 and a half or 84. They were only available in white or blue those years so likely a white example was redone in IROC yellow. And that red upholstery looks off, same for the seatbelts.
Did you notice the gauge cluster and dash trim are from a newer model? Not correct for 84. Also has the wrong side view mirrors. With all the inconsistencies I suspect an SS clone. Fortunately the VIN can determine if an original SS.
I know for a 1984 through a 1988 the 8th digit on the VIN must be a g for it to be a super sport it's true they did build some super sports with non buckets and column shifts console shift was an option we have an 85 super sport t-top with the red interior
The price of a 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo depends on its condition, with a median sale value of $11,000: Perfect condition: $17,050-$31,900 Excellent condition: $11,000-$17,050

Love the yellow exterior
Love the maroon interior
Just not together
For this color I’d want to redo the interior to black
That color kills it. Poor monte
I dont Reckon I've ever seen a yeller one of them.
Yes they made yellow ones also not many but they did
Somebody changed the color to yellow. The red interior clashes with yellow. They never came in yellow.
@@markg7030 I have seen a yellow one before it's not many out there but they out there
@@josephwatson2711 I agree you have seen a yellow one. I have seen a pink one. I'm saying it never came out of the factory in yellow, not an SS color.
@@markg7030 it was a ss I live in hot springs Arkansas it's one here maybe they had it painted but it's here
Did anyone notice 9" Ford rear
I did
Looks like an 85/86 interior......60/40 vinyl bench pretty rare option for the ss. In 84 blue or white were only SS colors. Nice car tho.
Hate the yellow but I would live with it for this cool of a car

I believe that it was re painted by the original owner before I got the car and the one that I had was with a black interior

@@michaelmcleod1579 yeah, selling as a clone or tribute is fine but not as an authentic SS.
I wake up to the sun every day, but I can’t wake up seeing yellow in my driveway!🧐
Looks like it has been pieced together. Dash is not an 84. I had a 87 that looked just like that. I now have a 84 my dad bought new, 26xxx miles.
SO LUV THE YELLOW, Price is right with the few flaws in the the paint, but would def luv to own it, a real head turner and sounds healthy.
That is a steal. I've spent near $30k building my 87 SS.
Thanks for watching
Yellow with a red interior 😮 nope

I don't think it's an 84, probably 85-86. 84s still had the woodgrain dash and all were blue with white seats.
@@davidgalinat4257 yeah that's why I would love to decode the v i n
Nice '84 for the money! 🤜🤛
Thanks

Like the color, but with red interior!?
Sweet ride but have to agree with everyone about the color combo maroon & yellow not great together.
84 with a column shift definitely not 15
They used to have reasonably priced cars but recently they've gotten greedy

@user-ui8or8cq7l Yeah okay pal 😆 🤣 😂
Yellow is a rare color around here they are all black or primer lol. Id prefer the gearing like that makes car feel lively.
Ty for showing the mc,ss brought back some awesome memories my first car was a Monte Carlo ss also yellow ❤
THESE CARS HAD NICE GEARING FOR THAT MOTOR COMBO IF STOCK REAREND LOWER GEAR
I don't know maroon and yellow not a really good color combination. The wheels look good.
Chevy rallys look good on just about anything.🎉🎉🎉
What type of rear end, looks like a Ford 9 inch.
This car sounds good. It’s something about sbc and big blocks I just love.
Thats a sweet ride Nick, but your audio is low. Way to take one for the team with no A/C..
I love those montes. Give it a dale Earnhardt paint job with a Nascar influenced look...
Nice Monte Carlo, the motor has a nice roar to it !! Thanks for the ride Nick!!
Thanks for watching!
Somebody installed Camaro side view mirrors which are not correct for an 84. The 86-88 came with Camaro mirrors.
Considering the interior, I don't think the yellow paint is original. It may have been once black.
For some reason I would go with a brown interior with the outside graphics in brown 👍🏾
they did not make them in yellow
No Matter Nick, she's sweet 4 an 84 ! Nice car Good price wish it was in my garage !😁✌
Needs bucket seats console
The Harmonic balancer will probably tell you if its a 383 or not. Looked like a 400 Balancer but its hard to tell on video.
Wow big 400 transmission, with a Ford 9 inch rear end, nice!
Thanks
Nice old Chevy. ☮️💙
Decent car,but what a rare color combo for a Monte Carlo, yellow W Maroon interior? Not a SS,very strange.
That trans will get smoked without the detent cable for passing gear hooked up
Your high beam light is out on the driver side bro 😊
That cannot be a factory color ???
it is not
Love the color, reminds me my green bay packers!
Had an '82 with that same color interior lol
seems well sorted.......
🏆Got to love a 🍀Chevy 👀✌️
Got to love a ford they all breakdown chevys and all
if you take care of them I got 352,800 mi on my Z71 and I got three trucks a car and two scooters 🍀friend 👀✌️
@@haroldbirge6881 I have 3 cars a truck and a motorcycle I keep them all well maintained
Price is a bit steep. Maybe
$12.5k
Wouldn't Change Anything On Gbody Monte Carlo SS Neat Stance, 383 Powerplant, Columns Tilt & Maroon Interior.
A yellow car to attract bugs at the cruise i think this was peiced together another one with out a flywheel cover
Ill give 6500$ its pieced together a ford rear dont come in a SS 🤔 and i think all Super Sports had gear in floor?
Those 85mph GM speedos in the early 80s were so pathetic LOL!
Got the damn McDonald's car over here with that red interior and yellow exterior 😂
Dash and side mirrors say '87 or '88 ??? VIN tells the truth!
When I get my car from you I will take it to Brian's motor sports bro.
It's a cool car for yellow
Don’t see many this color
Because it wasnt available. Only 2 colors in 84 - white and blue. And no red interior.
@@-Jason-L I know just sayin you don’t see many people paint em yellow. I have an 84 and an 85 currently. Also my name is Jason L too haha
