Looks really good Chris! Nice, neat well arranged layout. I like it! I'm sure it feels great to have your shack set-up and be back on the air. I really like your 'Radio Shack' gear. It's very nostalgic for me. I just bought a 'Realistic Navajo' 23 channel CB Base unit from the mid 70's. It's the exact same model I bought to start out in radio in 1975. I was 16 years old and saved up for 3 months to pay $159 for it. That equates to $770 today! A huge feat for a teenage boy...lol! Lots of great memories. I also bought an old 'Radio Shack' SWR/Power meter a few months back like new in box. Also like I had years ago that is still common today. The Radio Shack stores offered a lot of good equipment for HAMs. Stay well my friend and Happy Holidays!
Thanks! I miss Radio Shack! Both of my RS radios are eBay finds. I never had a SSB CB back in the day. I’m actually impressed by what I hear on SSB. They sound like hams! It’s good to be back on the air! Looking forward to the bands beginning to reopen. Happy Holidays to you too! Thanks again!
Welcome to CT Chris. Thanks for sharing all three videos. Can’t wait to see your POTA activations as Talcott Mtn State Park and Penwood St Park are practically in your backyard. 73 de N1YLO
