Just saw Hellraiser II, was looking forward to seeing the Law Of The Repetition Of Names in effect and was disappointed. Ebert was heavily exaggerating - actually he was more or less lying.
I'm grateful for the uploads not only for nostalgia's same, but also for introducing me to movies I hadn't heard about or had forgotten about. In the case of The Accidental Tourist, it's a movie that I did see when it came out but I was too young (I would have been 15 or 16) to appreciate. I'm a much more of a fan of William Hurt's (RIP) work and style these days and have a much better understanding of adult life and of the fact that most of the great highs and great lows don't consist of swashbuckling and explosions. Not to mention it features Geena Davis in top form during her puzzlingly short stint near the pinnacle of elite actors. I'm adding this to my rewatch list.
Talk Radio was a brilliant, scathing satire on the newly christianed talk radio format. Howard Stern, beware. Even live hosts were executed. Geraldo, Sally, Jenny, even Phil Donahue. We now live in a world of not pushing buttons 🤣

Seems I never get notifications for some of the channels I subscribe to, even with the bell icon selected. Seems like it prioritizes some channels over others. For example, I'm subscribed to SSSniperwolf; the bell icon isn't selected but TH-cam never fails to alert me when she has a new video.

Now I remember why I hated these two guys so much,my favorite films were their worst nightmares.
I saw this episode back in December of 1988. Enjoyed watching it again. 👍

I'm not sure that it was ever reviewed on the show. I tried to research it. I could only find a written review by Ebert and he gave it one star.
