My hat's off to that forklift driver. He knows how to handle that big machine and does a hell of a job. That 62 makes me drool. That is one hell of a straight car. Great job picking. The 64 looks pretty good too. Thanks for the video.
Dakota 92-96 frame swaps for the 61-71 d100 looks fairly easy . A 72-94 d100 can be done too but requires a little more work . Thanks for saving what you could Thomas 👍
I like what you're doing saving the old school cars and not crushing and possibly if you know a good 56 chev truck that I can get my hands on for a reasonable price short bed preferably
the grand torino what engine size 351 c or 428 429?is it 4 speed or auto? what about that mercury montiego that yellow one on bottom?thatwrecked wagon wirh 327 salvage 327.what about that white catelina?hopefully spare the 67- 69 cuda valueable parts on it,doors front end tail lights.
I think the guy wanted 1500 bucks and it was a pretty nice barracuda. I think cuda came around in 70. I don't remember what engine it had in it but it was straight and it's not the TH-camr. He didn't crush it he said to one side and in 8 months to a year no one's bought it. I like that body style myself. He isn't that far out if you want to buy one of them. But then I driven to both coasts halfway cross country you get what I wanted hard to get for somebody else. Of course gas is about half the price. But you got to get them when you find them if it's what you want. It is 64 Chevy to 2-door hardtop at 283 in it modestly built and $3,500 here it been sitting inside the shop for 20 years. Don't know why I didn't jump on it. I wanted a 62. I told guy about it and said that well you could probably get for five grand. He walked in with five grand and hundred dollar bills and sit on the table and the guy with the shop said yeah I'll take it. Now if he reads his comment you might be a little ticked off but for 3500 not negotiable wouldn't take a dime less. It was complete car halfway basket case. But they're out there is what I'm saying and I encourage anybody who has a real interest go find him while they're still available. I'll even tell you South Kansas fantastic place from especially Wichita to Great bend farther to the east got more rest farther to the west and south you've got sunbaked. Just FYI. Of course it's exceptions generalities I just stated.
Couple of questions but first great episode. I think you sold the 63 but are you going to sell parts. I like to have the trim going down the side on each side. A few other odds and ends. I have 263 convertibles want a good builder and the other one it'll burn the road up. If your friend really likes and power station wagons especially 1965. I've got one 95% complete 327 car been in the family for over 50 years I think my older relative bought it new. Last time I looked the book was in the glove box that came with the car. I'm glad to see somebody do something with it I wanted the other half a dozen wagons we have. Now a friend's not that interested I just look like it was the way it's looking over that 65 that was crunch all down the side t-bone. I also got a four-door and I've had it in the family since 19 78 1980 somewhere in there. In my great uncles 65 four-door as well. Talk about some great bumpers. I only mentioned because how hard he was looking at that wagon. And basically perfect deck lid and some fantastic quarters for a four-door etc. I'm glad to see you saved those hardtops 62 and 63. I know a guy has the bear shell and the frame of a 64 Impala 2 door hardtop less than two grand is what he'll take for it I have not paid them on number. Be glad to share the information yes four-door wagons. Some of says more complete than others. All the wagons of 55 what have you one has at least some of diamond tuck interior left.
Grab all the big Ford cars wagons 2n 4dr Lincoln vics 73-06 grab all front n back bumpers if the cars trash grab the bumpers off of 74-76 caprice front and back also caddies BOP monies some ford bumpers are good also make bank off of chevy BOP bumpers
I had some for the amount too I'd say they're worth about half with the rest on the bottom side. Just my opinion. If they're worth more where you're at there's a business opportunity. The X frames on them rot so bad.
@@heartoftexasbarnfindsandcl5193 ok thanks k3ep me I'm mind for a 63 impala conv. Ss or the conv parts to make a couple into a conv. Same thing needed for a. 62, 63, or 64 conv or parts. Later.
