I absolutely love this. I am struggling this year with the holidays coming up. I lost my brother in April and he absolutely loved Christmas. It's gonna be hard without him here. But I remind myself that he wouldn't want me to be sad and would want me to decorate and celebrate. Especially for his two daughters. Watching these videos reminds me how special this time of year is. Thank you for sharing! 🎄

I needed this today. Going through a very tough time financially & funding life hard & this really cheered me up. My xmas decor is all 24 years old but its still makes the season feel special. I got it all when i first became a Mum & lots of it has broken over the years but im still grateful to have any at all. Theres always people who have less & so its important to count our blessings x

I love Christmas and the music in this video made me love it even more. I still put out some decorations my son made when he was 7 (he's now 41) and I smile every year I see them. It's the homemade decorations that mean the most to me. The gifts I've gotten over the years have special meanings and I have notes on each one indicating who gave me the gift and the thought I had when I opened it. Watching you decorate makes me smile and I so miss the old days when we had more family around to celebrate the holidays. I'm always so inspired by your Christmas decorating videos. I struggle with decorating. One thing I've finally started doing is putting everything out in one place. Before I would just bring in a tub or two, use things in them, and then bring in more tubs. I would find some things when I opened the later tubs that I really wanted to use. This made me go back and redecorate areas. Doubled my time. Now I get everything out at once and I feel better. I've been watching you about 3 years; and now at 76, I enjoy my house more. Thank you!

I love how simple you’ve kept it, but it still looks really festive and cosy. I also like to have a tidy clean slate before I start to decorate for Christmas. There’s nothing better than getting the Christmas boxes down from the loft and opening up the boxes and coming across decorations you’d forgotten about.
In the UK most people don’t decorate until early December but I’ve already planned my decorating for the last week tin November.

my husband passed away two years ago and the past two Christmas have been hard. This year I moved to a new home and I’m starting my new chapter. This year has been all about celebrating me. While I still grieve I am young and l choose to live. Extra money would help me create a new Christmas in my new home for the new me.

I really love what you did with your home! I think how you created the Christmas village and wrapped it over your existing picture was genius! I would love to try to do that with a picture I have in my kitchen, possibly using puff paint to make it look like gingerbread houses! Thanks for the inspiration!
I love your taste and your beautiful home. You keep it livable for a young family. It is not over done. I like your couches and the fact that they are different. I liked your message about young women just starting off seeing all the videos and having sadness that they cannot achieve the same sorts of designer looks early in their marriages. We have been married 55 1/2 years and have accumulated our decor and traditional vibe over that time. I mostly stick to red and green and gold and add a few new things every year to keep it interesting. I love it that your husband is involved in the decor and you are thinking of what your children would enjoy.

I have a nativity scene that is made in Germany. It looks like a stable with freestanding characters and the special thing about it is that it is a music box. You wind it from the back. My daughter got it for me when she was in high school. She is in her fifties so that is how long I have had it. It is really special.
For some reason I woke up with bad left hip pain. I couldn't sleep and had only 3 hours of sleep. Just thought I would love watching my favorite person's video. I am glad. This motivates me to do more once I feel better. Have a blessed day 🙏

I love the look of the more subtle and simple decor. I have taken down my pictures for years and I wrap them up like Christmas gifts with bows and ribbons. It's such a simple thing to do but it has a big impact!

This year I definitely needed some cheering up to get in the spirit.
These past several months have been super hard on our family. My brother was diagnosed with a very large brain tumor this summer. He’s gone through multiple brain surgeries and fought through many complications. He still has a long journey ahead of him, but he is so strong and will get through this.

When you were talking about past days where you didn’t have the budget to decorate the way you wanted to and you longed for that, I totally felt that. Only a few years ago, my family was in that same place. We lived in a small apartment and I dreamed of the day we’d be in a house and decorating for Christmas. Tysm for making the holidays more peaceful & enjoyable. I lost my mom just before Christmas a few yrs ago and her mother is dying currently (my Nana), plus grandaddy died at Christmas time. It makes it a bit harder to enjoy the holidays and your videos are such a blessing for us grieving in this time of year.

My nativity was given to my father in 1972, when I was born. He died nearly twenty years ago now and His nativity is THE most favorite place I love to put out every year. My son his namesake really enjoys it also and has requested that he inherit his grandfather’s nativity. That warms my heart that he wants to carry on having this piece in his home.

Yes! Covering art that’s not in a winter or Christmas theme is a must. There’s some really nice winter and Christmas prints out there too if the budget allows. What a difference that made to the space 👍.

This year I have finished a lot of Christmas cleaning already and now I have started decorating. I am so glad that I did because my husband returned from his overseas trip and is in hospital with an unplanned surgery and another surgery in the near future.
He was supposed to come home and help me during my planned and unwanted medical procedures.
So unwell at the moment but despite everything I love, love Christmas and I am hoping to finish everything by the 1st Dec when we all get together to decorate the tree.
Fingers crossed that I manage it all. My children have bought me the same nativity set as yours a few years ago and since have added to the set.
Here in Australia it's Summer but I still like to create a cosy atmosphere with my Christmas decorating.

Sometimes the men take it a little far, but for the most part, it's a lot of fun. Your picture turned out really sweet. We have a couch for one room and a sectional in our family room. Now that my son is older and doesn't cuddle with me. I think I lean towards my couch and chairs. I would like to see more of the declutter videos since we are not ready for Christmas decorations yet. Thanks for such a sweet and thoughtful video! I use to wish for the same things (a beautiful festive home with all the pretty decor) and yes, after years and years, my decor collection has finally grown into something I’m extremely happy with. I don’t go overboard yet I try to add a few key pieces each year (and I’ll donate a few older pieces) this year, I need a new Christmas tree, so seeing that you had the same issues, makes me feel a bit more “normal” everything you did is beautiful and I LOVE your nativity set!! I would cry too, if my hubby gifted that to me!! (I have a very old one from a thrift store) but one day I’ll get a better one. God bless you and your family!! ❤❤
My mom gets me a new piece to my Willow nativity every year and I totally look forward to it! I’ve admired hers for years but like you said, it’s so pricey, so she started my collection a few years ago and I love seeing it out every Christmas!

I had a section of lights that went out on my tree however I just inserted some strands of lights and added more…looks fine…🤭you can’t tell they went out! The entire home looks so Calm and Cozy. SUPER NICE!❤
