Love your work! I have a 2006 Range Rover Sport and I love my Range. It hasn't given me a lot of problems that people say they do. They are costly for maintenance but so worth it for a beautiful luxury car. Thanks again for all the great videos!
I think part of it is where he lives, the air is relatively dry. So any moisture into the air is quickly spread out. Even with his garage doors shut, I'm betting it seeps through to the outside ambient air quickly. That and I know I've seen snow on vehicles he's cleaned, which means most of the moisture is on the ground in snow form. I used to live in a snowy area and it was relatively dry air. Where I live now tho is much much hotter, muggy, and yes, I'd be sweating just standing in my garage. But it's all about the climate. That also explains why he's able to wash the interior and have it dry relatively quickly. In my area, it took my car nearly 2 days to dry when I just did a light washing.

Geez, this is mesmerizing! I need someone like you to detail my vehicle! It was stolen and of course when the police found it, it was completely trashed and disgusting. I don’t see myself ever driving it again, but hoping I can get someone as detailed as this to bring my Jeep back to where I’d want to drive it.

@@neil78b it doesn’t matter if you can afford it because it’s a known garbage vehicle at a higher price with many mechanical issues. A vehicle is no good at any price if it spends the the majority of its life on a lift in the service bay.

You do realize that a lot of those junkers are leases which means the owners were smart enough not to invest all their acquired cash into that Sanford and son truck?

I own a 2015 Range Rover and I’ve never paid more than $125 for a full synthetic oil change. I think the maintenance costs can be pretty exaggerated. Certainly not inexpensive, but not as out of control as many think. Great job as always on this one! - Kyle
Oil changes aren't expensive. It's things like electrical diagnosis, suspension, the potential timing chain issues the 5.0 is known for as well as sensor issues.

That previous owner is going to be kicking himself if he ever sees this video. Minor repairs and it was good to go. All he truly needed was those repairs and new tires and he could have driven back to the states or sold it and came home with extra dollars! Cleanest car I think I’ve ever seen you do!

Recently saw a video about obsolete home features, in which central vac was featured as something no one has any more. Guess that’s a surprise to you? My sister has one. Best feature is really the quiet operation! Anyway, this would have been a good video to watch with no music, just ambient sound, as it’s fairly short. Could you perhaps put up a version without music, just so we can hear the work being done? Brushes, pressure wash, vac, steamer, etc?

Based on the interior parts, I can tell this isn't a 2008. The interior was redesigned in 2007. Also, those rims are horrible. You are definitely narrowing your buyer pool. Most enthusiasts would want stock.

I was trying to send you an email because I didn’t want you to think this was some sort of advertisement for a product but I found some thing called mothers VLR to clean vinyl leather and rubber and it is an insane job with a and magic marker clean up sponge. You shared so much with me I wanted to do a little for you if you had never seen it. It got the vinyl on my son-in-law’s work truck spotless when the dirt was like in the porch. Thanks again for all the help
1:22 I honestly feel the same way, the "I did that" feeling is hard to match. I initially wanted to do a few different types of designing jobs, partially because I enjoy it, but also partially because it also has that feeling; but I'm glad I finally gave detailing a try because whilst it does have that, it's also significantly easier to get in to :p
I can’t speak for this model, but my LR3 is a tank. My buddy has 220k on his od and he still mobs it everywhere without an issue. The older ones had BMW drivetrains and those had a lot of issues. After Ford bought Land Rover in the early 2000’s, they started putting their drivetrains in them around 2005 making them much more reliable.
I did a Jeep Wrangler yesterday and quickly realized I need a shop or something this heat we have in VA is nothing to play around with but great detail as always Mitch
Owned and daily drove a 2007 RR Supercharged for 4 years with 80,000 + miles. Was an all around great vehicle except for the air suspension which was insanely expensive to maintain. The quality as far as paint/ materials is unmatched. Mechanicals are a different story. If you can’t afford the maintenance. Steer clear!
Just looked up prices in Australia for Land Rovers. The same thing happens, the price drops dramatically and they cost upwards of AUS$5,000 per year to maintain.

The reason why they are so low in value is because mechanically they’re extremely unreliable. I’ve seen Rovers that are only 3-4 years old totaled mechanically because of the cost to repair them.
One thing I love about this channel is now since school is starting back up, I have spread the word to school districts in my area about this great channel. And i love hearing the natural sounds. One one I would love to hear when it comes to the extraction, I would love to hear the motor on the extractor.

The reason for the bad resale is because of the high maintenance costs, like you said, and they are horribly unreliable, especially when it comes to electrical problems.
Great job my man I love how you're presentation don't include foam Cannon foam dripping slowly and just a lot of cinematography you get right to the point and I like the pace that you work and speed up the camera and me along with a lot of other people who commented I had a friend who had two range rovers at different times they stayed in the shop more than he drove them it's a shame because they're great looking vehicles I've always liked the look of them put stayed far away from purchasing that's not your issue though you do a fantastic job with detailing keep up the good work 👍💪😎

That’s a 2006, you can tell by the interior. The headlights in 2006-2009 are the same, but the interior was the old interior from 2003-2006 and updated in 2007-2009, then updated again for the L322 in 2010-2012.
Is there a reason why you always clean the exterior before the interior? If you reversed the process, wouldn't it help prevent gunk and dirt from inside being tracked by you to the clean outside? Love the videos. Keep up the great work. Thanks.
It is such a pleasure to watch as Mitch does his magic with a vehicle. The RR is a major “status symbol” for some, even though the brand has a terrible rep as being a money pit. This said, it must require deep pockets, a spare car and patience, to love.😊
My buddy flips cars and said those Range Rovers aren’t worth shit once the warranty runs out. Was surprised when he said a 10 year old car that was $70K new was only worth $8K.

If you can afford the vehicle(99% of people can’t), unless you’re making at least $250K+ a year, you can afford the upkeep.

A nice 08 with around 100k on the odometer is bringing around 10 or 11 in my area. You are correct the maintenance is a bear on those things
