@@journeytothestage I'm a huge fan of the music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Despite being in a classic rock band, I'm a total amateur and drool over the skills of the folks who created all those tunes, lol.
Suggestion: Eliminate the 'intros' .. if you want these videos to get any traction .. 2min openings are a death-curse for TH-cam ps: Carol is an absolute LEGEND .. thanks for the interview.
I really appreciate your comment. Genuinely. Indie podcasting is a very isolated endeavor with little to no feedback. So I’ve just done things the way that makes sense to me. Your comment has really made me think about doing something that’s much shorter. You are spot on. Thanks for taking the time.
Hey @a2zme, i wanted to come back ( 9 months later) and thank you for your input. I'm getting ready to launch my 4th season with a brand new intro of about 12 seconds!
12 second intro let me turn you on to to my new 11 second intro. You get all the good stuff you got from the 12 second version in a shorter time. Lame Something about Mary reference aside great interview with the legend. I get the feeling from her interviews that she wishes people would ask her more about Jazz/Bebop than the Rock/Pop records.
Unfortunately, the only way I could interview her was on the phone, so I took what I could get. Less than ideal due to the sound quality, a downside of recording that way. Thanks for tuning in!
Great job, love to hear anything from the great Carol Kaye.
She's a true legend. If you haven't heard part 2, we cover a lot of ground there.
Wonderful to hear from the great Carol Kaye again and you are a terrific interviewer!
That's kind of you to say. I'm glad you enjoyed our chat.
Thanks for doing this work bro!
Thank you for listening! If you haven't heard part 2, it's worth a listen.
fantastic interview. I enjoyed this very much. Looking forward to part two.Thank you so much 🥰xx
@sansypansy, I'm so glad you listened and enjoyed it! Thanks for your kind comment.
Thanks. Great interview with a great lady.
Carol was quite generous with her time. I feel like we barely scratched the surface.
