3年前まで撮影隊をしておりました。
画質や音質共にとても迫真的な記録になっているのがすごいですね。
多くの人にたくさん愛されて育まれている素晴らしいバンドです。
こんにちは。BFJOファンの一人です。実は顧問の原田先生が
オープンリールデッキのマニアで、その関係で古くからお付き合いが
ありました。そんなこともあり応援しています。

ブロ友のアルクノさんから、BFJOの事は以前から聞いていて、TH-camなどでも聴いていましたが、この時の動画が見れて嬉しいです。
特に、部長のソロが堪能できて満足しました。(^^)
They can play swing, they can play smooth jazz, they can play funk, this orchestra is just incredible.
I was honored to have been able to spend time in Japan. I learned many things from these tough, resilient people.
Just about the only place left on this planet where you can hear such beautiful music is Japan. There is still hope for humanity! I could easily be wrong by saying this, but I think that some of these kids' inspiration came from a very popular Japanese comedy called Swing Girls And A Boy, from 2005, I think. You can find it in 10-minute segments on YT with some effort. It's about a bunch of high school "slackers" who find redemption by putting together a Swing Band. Highly recommended! The hairdos of the trumpet players are what makes me think this.
Good to such talented kids these days and I ,am happy to see the girls beat along with the best of them well done girls . Australia

The funk and rap stuff marred the performance. Wish they wouldn't drop to such low levels -- they're so much better than that.

@@neovxr I don't like some of the modern stuff either, but as you say "let them be young." When you don't like something, that's what the scroll button is for. Just bypass what you don't like and enjoy what you do. What is most important is that the old Big Band numbers are being kept ALIVE by these young Japanese kids. As long as youth play it, it means this style of music will never die!
