I've lived in HHI for a couple of years now. I can't think any place I would rather be. The pros far outweigh the cons. If you can afford the housing costs, its clean, safe, beautiful, family friendly and offers something for everybody.

Healthcare is substandard, one hospital with no competition and doctors who shuttle between Savannah and or Charleston. It’s great when you are healthy but there’s a ton of old folks here now…

Thanks for watching! You'll enjoy the short lines in restaurants and low traffic this time of year! The beach may be a bit chilly but biking is always fun with all the bike paths available! Some great restaurants are Skull Creek Boathouse for lunch and Michael Anthony's for dinner! If you are a wine drinker, tastings at Rollers Wine & Spirits is fun! Enjoy your visit!
