Wow, I just saw it's out of stock now. It wasn't when I made the review. You might find a second hand one maybe. Don't think they will make another batch of these. Only Squale directly might do something similar. At least they should.
Thanks Mario. Great review and it’s pleasing to hear even with so many less desirable attributes you still love this watch and it will be a keeper. The review has opened my eyes and I really like the case design. Great work and congratulations on 1000 subscribers too!
Agreed with just about everything you said. Great video and amazing watch, definite X-factor. This watch was my 'affordable grail', but ultimately can't justify the price. I settled with a WMT Ohio, which is worse in some ways, but actually better in a few (mostly: it cost me 1/4th of what I'd have to pay for this Squale). The WMT is unashamedly function-follows-style (acrylic, 10bar, aged lume, etc) but does some things very well. For one, I prefer the white hands over silver.
@@nintendokings they try to keep the original proportions of the watch case of the past which was 34mm and the lugs where wider relative to the watch, thus the current line is 22mm...
Nice and pertinent review. This watch is also one of my favourites especially in this "no date" definition. I own the "Subino Blue" model with the same conclusions when it comes to "pros" and "cons". Only the price of this Corso Italiano with import taxes and VAT here in France was an obstacle to its purchase which would also have duplicated my Subino Blue a bit. As I am an absolute fan of the 1953 Fifty Fathoms, I found the most accurate and reasonably priced model to be the WMT Seawolf in the non-aged edition. It complements my Squale blue well. For the metal bracelet I found the bead of rice from Watchgecko fits perfectly the Squale case, have a look on their website.
Thanks Morgan for the comment and your words. I'll check the WMT site. Seems they have very interesting pieces there. How is the thickness in the WMT Seawolf? About the beads of rice you mean the 20mm one for NHT watches?
@@TheWatchFrame The total thickness of the WMT is 14,5 mm due to the thick domed acrylic crystal, the case is 12mm. Exact name of the watch is WMT Seawolf Ohio dial edition, non aged as I don't like artificially aged ones. They are hard to find because often "out of stock". For the Watchgecko bead of rice bracelet it seems no more in sale with the curved end links, the NHT will not fit as it's for NHT watches imho. Send them a mail with your needs, they are helpfull.
@@Pollendu13 if importing to France, yes, you will most probably have to. I got it second hand from Germany so I saved that, but I'd suggest you to contact Whatawatches. They will have more information regards this.
Great Review, it's an absolutely beautiful watch!!
Thanks. Yes, it is.
Congratulations on +1,000 subscribers! I really enjoy your thoughtful and well-produced content. Keep it up! 🙂
Thanks!
I hope they do another release of this one; exactly what I want but I missed out on this one.

Thanks Rob, and specially for your support :)
Great review! I also got mine pre-owned. It has that X factor which is hard to describe. Like you, I doubt if this will leave my small collection.
Great to hear that you have a brother of this watch. Yes, a true hard to explain X factor :)
Beautifully done review !
Thanks!
Great review! The mesh bracelet is a nice fit. Where did you get it?
Thanks, I got a Milanese bracelet from AliExpress. A very inexpensive one just to test how it looks on the watch.
Enjoy your reviews Mario! I have an explorer too and we have similar tastes 😊
Great to know! Both awesome watches :D

Really don't understand why Squale doesn't make their standard Sub-39 line more like this: 20mm lugs, no date, black dial.
That WMT is awesome indeed.

Il faut compter la douane pour cette montre ?
