i was watching your video just now to figure out why i couldn't download the tool. Thanks for the tutorial, hopefully the tool will be available again soon.
I’m only getting 53 mh/s after bios modding and have only one memory. Settings - 1300/750 and 1790/950, not able to exceed the clocks more than this as it is completely unstable. Any help anyone?
Thanks so much for this information!! I used it to mod all my cards. Must've viewed it 20 times as i modded them individually! The only thing of importance that you might add or people reading these comments need to know - when you name modded and stock bios' for cards, add an identifying factor from the card (not just model name/number) such as the last 5 of the serial number of card. that way you know that the stock bios is for a particular card should you brick it and need to know EXACTLY which .rom file stock bios pertains to. Just advice, tho - take it FWIW. Thanks again mining chamber!!! you kick ass!
Thank you so much !! We are glad it helped and thank you for putting your feedback !! I completely agree with what you said, I apologize for looking over it. I thought with the same model it will be okay but then the memory can vary! I have pinned the comment hoping people will see it and not run into problems! Thank you again!!
It might just be what my problem is , I have 6 xfx 5700xt triple dissipation , I flashed them all with 1 of the modded bios. Then they randomly crashes. So I flashed them all back to stock bios( 1 of the 6 cards which I don’t know what card’s stock bios now ) . They still crashes . I think I am into so serious trouble now. Did everything I could they still won’t run right . Every 2 hours or so 1 of the card will hang up crashing the system.
@@MrMrluo Sorry for late response I just saw this comment! If they are still running and you can see your screen and you can see all of them mining then the issue is most likely your overclocks! Try to tune them down just a bit on all cards
Also, great overview of the overclocks. Very glad you did that in the AMD software and not afterburner. It has beena while since I used it, so it was nice to get a refresh!
That card you have is a boss! Man it looks good too. And thanks so much for shout out, very kind of you! This is the perfect overview for folks considering the 5700 XT!
This project can’t bring me guaranteed income But can you say about $xETH-G? Looks budding. They do 2 rebases per day, 1st between 00:00 UTC - 11:59 and 2nd between 12:00 and 00:00 UTC. They reward buyers by staking rewards from the pool. What’s your prediction?
I found a very good setting for the sapphire nitro + Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G. 94 watts 57.8 MH / s with these parameters: frequency 800 1074 1350 Voltage 725 733 755 clock 1884 94watt 57.8 MH / s

Because every time after I restart the pc I have to manually enter the saved profile. I would like to know a way to set it to default on the graphics card. Careful your answers about it thanks.
Hi Josh, do you mind sharing what OS youre using and how you are mining? My GPUs constantly crash whether theyre stock settings or theyre at 1400 850 and 1700-1800 mem clock. Is it because I'm using windows and nicehash? is the bios modding required or is it to just get the wattage lower?
@@StevenDanielZigila Hi Steven, I am using win 10, phoenix 5.4c. I have 1 card that is the problem child on my rig. I did find it helpful to do the bios modding as suggested by the great folks at mining chamber. It's not that difficult once you do it a few times. I now have 8 5700 xts and all are running on the 725 mv stable except that one which I have at 775, 800, 850. I get about 1.5-2 days of uptime roughly until that one card fails. Also, I did notice if I keep the room at about 74 degrees fahrenheit it seems to run more stable. I hope this helps.
@@brosifstalin415 i just bought rx 5700 xt nitro+ for 900€ so currently have two of them and im seriously thinking about selling my pulse with profit :D
Another awesome guide! I was on the fence if I would mod my MSI 5700xt Gaming X rig. After watching this, I decided to pull one of the cards, impressive results! Thanks @Mining Chamber. 5 more cards to go.
Hello, I'm interested in mining with 5700xt's; what do you mean exactly ? will these GPU's become obsolete in the future ? or do you mean it no longer is mineable because it becomes a staking coin ?
so of that happens whats next profitable to mine with a gpu sir? me and my bro planning to start mining with 10gpu 5700xt.. is it ok or too late? power basically free, were going solar..
thnx man a lot, your added bios for strix card helped and worked on flashing gpu ! spend all day looking for solution why my card breaks after modding stock bios.. didnt figured out. and your worked well! just fans on 77 % and cant lower them :D
Undervolting will actually prolong the hardware. Less power, means less heat, less heat means longer hardware life. The reason we get a boost in performance is because generally GPUs use more power than they really need to, and since we are mining we don't need the core power of the gpu we just need better memory frequency
Dude I’m getting 52 mega hash at 88-93 watts on my cards! I have 4 rigs 6 5700 xt on each and the production lately has gone through the roof and I’m at such low wattage now! I can post a pic of my settings and I’m using amd for the settings!
I am ran into a huge problem. I have a Gigabyte 5700 XT Gaming OC Rev 2.0 and I did try your steps like on this video and my computer doesnt turn it on. It looks like the card is bricked nows. How do I flash it back to the original? Just to mention.. it doesnt even allow me to enter the bios. total black screen and on the motherboard error light is on vga. if I take the power cable out then i am able to start with the integrated graphic card (i7-10700) It starts and there is just one "white dash" on preboot.. nothing happens
@@KrOOliKakaKaTiaRa I have gigabyte 5700xt. it stays cool. without bios modding and underclocking and overclocking in adrenaline, i get 52mh/s using lolminer
I'm sure you've discovered that they run a little hot, but hopefully you've also discovered that's because they tend to have the thermal pads not on the center of all the chips. Pop the cooler off clean off the gunk, fix all of the thermal pads, apply good thermal compound and bolt it all back together... Bit of a pain to do to each card one at a time but they run significantly cooler after you do. You can also take the plastic back plate off, put a big thermal pad over the back of the whole card, and just stick whatever heatsink you want onto that. Edit: or you can do what I did and just put a water cooling block on it. I did that to mine before I started mining anything just because I wanted a quiet gaming PC but it lets you really crank everything up
@@TravisFabel How much did it cost to put a water cooling block on it? Summer is coming up so I need to figure something out regarding the heat. Has it been worth it thus far? Easy to install?
Thanks, I BIOS modded and got the same results, 55.4 MH, but MSI AB won`t let me go below 815 mV, so currently the software shows 95 W. GPU : XFX RX 5700 XT RAW II
So after working through your videos you should put an update that if the memory gets too hot on the card it will crash every time. Some cards depending on AIB need to have a higher fan speed to keep the memory cool. Otherwise this was a huge help
Thank you so much for the mod I'm using the same vcard and it works perfectly fine. I'm using nanopool and I downed my power @ 87watts and temps at 57 C also the hash is at 54 perfect thank you soo much mate
thanks to your videos i become miner too. I have corsair hx1200 it has 5 pcie outpus available for gpu. I have one radeon vii (170w) and 4 rx 5700xt (110wx4). I am debating adding one more rx 5700xt. SO can one pcie cable with 2 splitters power 2 rx5700s? SO it will pull probably 220-300 w from cable is it risky?
Question for anyone!! Built this same rig with 4 5700xt red devils.BIOSmodded and overclocked to your specs.1st build ever. No idea you could mine this 2 months ago. Great Content. I have had it running for 24 hours have 605 accepted shares and 5 invalid shares. Really ignorant when I ask this... Is that Good? within tolerance or bad? If bad how do I fix it?
I have prepared a detailed question to ask on the 880w/330mh video but I believed that the answer lies within one of your videos. I was right, MPT part! Your channel is like an oasis!
Hi friends, for those of you who have a XFX 5700 XT Thicc III Ultra, I recommend you follow this tutorial but DO NOT use the bios mod for other 5700's. Use techpowerup's Thicc III bios mods. I soft-bricked my card using the bios settings in this video, fortunately able to restore to default bios. Then I used techpower up's thicc III bios mod, using the steps in this video, and it worked like a charm. Thanks @mining chamber for all the info you provide. If you had this same experience or did not have this issue at all, please comment on this thread so other people can read it.
Hello bro, wow. Excellent video, im just starting in the mining world and you have been my guru, thanks. Just one question, does the graphic card has to be plugged in the mining rig and in the pc for editing the BIOS?
This was a fantastic vid. I have 9 Gigabyte 5700 XT cards. 5 are rev 1 and 4 are rev 2. I was able to mod all my rev 1's to bump them from 49 to 54 Mhs in HiveOS but setting the overclocks to the recommended values (core clock 1350/core volt 900/mem 1850/mem volt 850) didn't increase the MHs. I may flip back to Windows and adjust wattman and go back to NiceHash.
Great video man! Couple of questions since i am completely new. I have a nitro +, a ryzen 5 3600xt and 32gb ram. Viable for playing online games while mining? And how will this affect my hardware? After seeing your video i am thinking of trying to mine for the first time! Also a pool or solo? What do you would suggest ? And can i do this without overclocking and messing with my gpu?And last , you said that it was running for 4 hours without crashing...so mining will cause crashes and stuff?
Thank you! Mining does use your gpu resources so gaming and mining will be tricky. Ram does not affect it much neither does the cpu. As for the overclocks yes it is recommended but you don't need to BIOS mod. Overclocking it simply makes sure your gpu does not burn itself out by using way more power than it should! You can turn on the miner while your not gaming then off when you game! I will be making a video regarding this topic soon so stay tuned! "Mining with your gaming pc"
went from 52 mh at 130 watts to 54 mh at 100 watts with ur guide with my red dragon , guess the dude can't do as good as your version but it's an improvement nonetheless, crashes every time i try to get better results than that unfortunately, thanks a lot for the video!
GPU mining is like you being the bank and approving transactions in the blockchain for cryptocurrency and then you get a small fee paid to you for the valid transaction hashes you submit. That is put very simply and plainly but it is more complex and technical
The job of the GPU is to perform complex calculations using it's compute power to solve "equations" that verify and prove the transactions. You can somehow compare it to machine learning ( using gpus to train data sets to a program) but just for a different objective. And pleasure! Hopefully that clarifies it
When you get to the recommended settings at 22:05 you are just using the AMD Radeon App. Do you need to flash the bios and such before using that software, or was that just walking through a different more comprehensive approach? Basically, can I skip flashing the bios and just use the Radeon app to apply these settings?
One question please: What is the best about this Nitro + model compared to the Pulse model? Is your construction better than Pulse? For example, is her cooling system better? Are the term pads better? Is her electronic components better than the Pulse model? I am seriously thinking about buying, through your link, this Nitro + model instead of buying the Pulse model. Thanks
Hey! The Nitro+ happens to have one of the best memory cooling but that is the only difference. The Nitro+ is better in cooling than the Pulse but the Pulse is also still a good option!
@@MiningChamber Thank you. I did a test doing this bios mode on my pc gamer that has a rx5700 xt pulse and the memory temperature mining ETH was between 82 and 84º. Is it considerable or is it too hot?
Dude. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for doing this video and for putting the list of parts that you used on the site. It helps a bunch. I have a question about the hardware you used to connect the 5700XT to the PSU. I just picked up my 5700XT (picked up a Zotac 3070 as well) and both have dual 8 pin connectors on the GPU. I am wondering why you chose to use PCI-e 6 Pin to Dual PCIe 8 Pin (6+2) splitter instead of using a 8 pin to dual 8 pin splitter? I am asking because I want to connect my 5700XT to my PSU (Rosewell 80+ Bronze 1000W) but it has 8 pin connectors on it instead of 6 and I dont think the 6 pin connectors you linked in the vid will work for me. Should I just order a 8 pin to dual 8 pin splitter and hope that this will be sufficient to meet the power needs of me 5700XT and 3070? Thanks (I am slowly learning more and more about this). For everyone else smash that like button!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey! Thank you so much!! ⛏️💙 I used the 6 pin to dual 8 pin because it is what I had at the time and it's completely fine to use them to power just 1 gpu and it's riser, but as for 8 pin to dual 8 pin, same thing it just carries more power too so it's safer. I recommend checking the ATX psu guide and the server psu guide it will definitely clear it out for you!

Rx580 8gb market has gone up again. With power and hash being very close how do you feel about the 5500xt? Only 180$ new and some even cheaper. Us used market for a 580 is close to same price.
I would recommend the 5600 XT since they do have 6GB Vram instead of 4GB( which won't be able to mine for too long) The 5600XT pretty good cards and budget friendly we will be reviewing them soon!
Hey, first tks for the good videos you do , helps me alot :) I question, I want to do what you doing in this video and I have rx5700/xt, I need to change place, going to have removal all and assembly again. Question is, if I do the mod bios before i move there ill be a problem with the GPU alocation on MB slots? Does GPU have to be on same MB slots ? Sorry for long text !! :P Thank and keep good work
Hey! Thank you so much! You can BIOS mod it and move it anywhere you want ;) no need to worry about the motherboard slots they can be placed in any slot! Good luck!
noob question: is it worth to bios mod if I plan to do it on my gaming pc? It's currently mining during the day and I stop it to play a bit in the evening. Also, is you temperature (42C) that low because of the bios mod? My card (sapphire pulse) is often at 63C-64C mining 52 MH/s. Thanks!
Hey! That is a really good question!! I don't recommend Bios modding if your also using it as your daily driver. BIOS modding gives you a couple more hashrate but also makes it use more power. It's best to avoid it if it's not dedicated for mining. As for the temperature it is because the room was a bit chili! Usually the gpu is at 55-60 in the mining room and memory temps are at 80c
Picked up some MSI 5700 XT’s but only hashing at 53mh/s. Can I just use MSI afterburner to undervolt/overclock? I can get it to about 54.5 before it crashes Phoenix miner
great video ! thank you so much , however i got a question the performance setting what did you change in the morepowertool ? Did you change and save into the new bios and flash again ?
Hey!! I did not run More Power Tool again. It was just that first time to unlock us the way to be able to undervolt further than 850mv, As for the performance mode, you will not need MPT if you decide to do performance mode!
hi. great job and thanks alot. after a power failure wattman sets value to default value what should i do to make default value for the gpus? would msi after burner works better? or is something to set in RBE OR More power tool to make it set to values after power surges. thanks in advance
If OC crash then they usually reset but if it's due to power failure you can just save the profiles in Wattman and then load the profile! There should be a way to do it automatically but Im not sure how on top of my head sorry! The issue with MSI afterburner is that you can't undervolt this gpu there
My update in 1/2021 in mining/market situation. I was now completed another RIGs from 1660SUPER and 5700XT. Better GTX than this. This RX price now in Indonesian around 10.000.000IDR+, 1660S 4.000.000IDR. 2x 1660S hashrate 62, 1x 5700XT 60.
Hey mining chanber first of all really good video thanks for this. I'm using MSI RX 5700xt Evoke and i did exactly same things you have done. When I load and check moded bios from red bios editor everything seems ok but i can't clock down voltage under 750mV, i need a little help in oreder to underclock to 725mV. Thank you.
I loved the video! Thank you very much. Really in depth and easy to follow. I have only one question, my hashrate has increased with the enw configuraiton to around 55 MH/s, but I am only managing to reduce my voltage to 117 W. I tried reducing the voltage to around 715, where it is still stable. But can'T get anywhere near the 90 W. Any ideas what could be the issue? Thank you :)
Just bought (4) 5700 XT cards and am building a rig. Do I need to do this to all cards? I assume yes, so do I do this to one at a time and when done, unplug and install the next? Once all flashed, plug them all in? Or, do I plug them all in, flash them all at the same time, and then reboot?
Yes! There is an easier way to do it in HiveOs so you can check our HiveOS guide on that, and you can also check our 6 gpu build of the 5700 xt which we had to do them one by one on windows 10! You can find it in our gpu mining rigs playlist
@@MiningChamber thank you for the reply. I’m very impressed and thankful you took the time to reply. Sorry I replied late. Wow I’m at 120 and 140 watts at 52 for my 5700 xt’s. I was crashing but I was at 900 watts at wall on 1000 watt PSU. I finally undervolted and got closer to 100 watts per gpu but still on 52 mh/s. This is great I am going to give it a shot. Hope I don’t 🧱 brick my GPU’s as they’re like gold today.
Great video. I was wondering if you have any videos on setting up a 5700xt for mining with AMD software only? Im not sure I want to get into changing bios. Thanx
Hey! in this video we only use the AMD software to overclock the cards. Please check the overclocking section of the video, no need to BIOS mod if you dont want to BIOS mod! Timestamps in the description below. Your overclocks may vary since you wont BIOS mod, that means you can at most undervolt at 800-850 so the Performance settings in the video will be a good option for you.

Are you using an adapter to run the HDMI cable to the motherboard? My Biostar TB250 motherboard does NOT have an HDMI port. It only has a USB 2.0 and 3.0 port. What kind of adapter are you using?
I plugged in the HDMI into the GPU in our mining rig build video, you can do that if your mining in windows and just turn off the monitor after you stabilize your rig!

Hi, thanks for the vids... quick question though, does the recommended overclock settings still good for gaming? Since i am planning to use my gaming pc to mine if im not playing, thanks in advance.
tried it with msi evoke rx5700xt, have gain about 2mh but a lot more crashing even if less overclock than stock bios, so i reinstalled stock bios back, it is not worth changing the bios for such small gains and more crash
I agree! I believe the Evoke gets really hot that's why it will crash more frequently. So pushing it harder with BIOS modding will most likely be bad for it. Thank you for sharing your experience with it!
Hey bro great video. I have a question can i use this build for working station and a little gaming? Maybe dumb question. Sorry. Advance Thanks bro. Great video.

Hi nice thoroughly advice and well educated, i have a few question, will I need GPU riser cable or don't need that ? Also where is the money going into, into your ETH wallet right ? but will it be safe, as this github project is open source right so anyone could be monitoring that SSL Port and steal our coins.
Great video did one on the 5600xt vs 5700xt numbers wise and depending if you care about power or not the 5600xt is a better choice you can get way more mh per circuit if your power limited and dont have a huge amount of power available to you.

Hi, I have built my 1st rig with 3 GPUs to start off, I followed all the steps for my powercolor 5700xt and everything went great thank you for the help! Now I also have 2 xfx 5700xt and both have the same problem 'Amdvbflash failed to read ROM when trying to save original BIOS' Any ideas???
Hmm did you try to unlock rom first ? Using the -unlockrom command if that failed what about rebooting the system and trying again or making sure the amdvbflash is run in administrator mode
Ok I tried a newer version of amdvb flash and it reads the ROM fine, but now when I do the amdvbflash -p 0 XXXX.rom I get a 'BIOS authentication signature mismatched' message with error: 0FL01 anybody encountered this problem before?
I followed the steps in the video and restarted my device to complete BIOS update. Now my motherboard gets stuck on VGA and will not read HDMI connection to my monitor. Any suggestions ?
Hi. First informative and complete video on 5700 XT that is helpful, thank you. Why not the Evoke (10) or MSI (2)? I could only get those in South Africa.
can we modified the bios so that we do not need anymore amd radeon software? because my rig crash a lot for now and I must always reload some settings. So for example should I set the maximum voltage o frequency?

Hello, I'm interested in mining with 5700xt's; what do you mean exactly ? will these GPU's become obsolete in the future ? or do you mean it no longer is mineable because it becomes a staking coin ?
so of that happens whats next profitable to mine with a gpu sir? me and my bro planning to start mining with 10gpu 5700xt.. is it ok or too late? power basically free, were going solar..
thnx man a lot, your added bios for strix card helped and worked on flashing gpu ! spend all day looking for solution why my card breaks after modding stock bios.. didnt figured out. and your worked well! just fans on 77 % and cant lower them :D
thanks, i got increase 5-4 mhs. do undervolt have negative impact to the hardware ?. since we got boost on perfomance but running in lower voltage.
Undervolting will actually prolong the hardware. Less power, means less heat, less heat means longer hardware life. The reason we get a boost in performance is because generally GPUs use more power than they really need to, and since we are mining we don't need the core power of the gpu we just need better memory frequency

They get pretty hot! Just make sure you cool them good enough
That was my concern as they much cheaper as well then ASUS I Hope Gigabyte is bit better in this case

You can turn on the miner while your not gaming then off when you game!

this is a great tutorial, it keeps my gpu cool and improves my hashrate
it's amazing how much more effective Radeon Settings software is when compared to MSI Afterburner. it saved me a bit in temps and wattage.
I have watched many videos on GPU mining and still don't understand what is the purpose and how do you make money?
GPU mining is like you being the bank and approving transactions in the blockchain for cryptocurrency and then you get a small fee paid to you for the valid transaction hashes you submit. That is put very simply and plainly but it is more complex and technical
@@MiningChamber makes some sense for me but what is the job of the GPU? thanks for your reply.
The job of the GPU is to perform complex calculations using it's compute power to solve "equations" that verify and prove the transactions. You can somehow compare it to machine learning ( using gpus to train data sets to a program) but just for a different objective. And pleasure! Hopefully that clarifies it
@@MiningChamber ok so is there a software you need to download to tell the GPU's what to do?
Yes there is, we do show that in this video for example. When we are overclocking
This looks promising! My gaming pc using asrock 5700 xt phantom gaming, can i use this setting to mine & gaming at the same time? Thanks!

I used the 6 pin to dual 8 pin because it is what I had at the time and it's completely fine to use them to power just 1 gpu and it's riser, but as for 8 pin to dual 8 pin, same thing it just carries more power too so it's safer. I recommend checking the ATX psu guide and the server psu guide it will definitely clear it out for you!

Silly question here. Which of the dual BIOS do you use for mining? Silent? Performance?
I do mod the original one that it comes with, which is usually the silent one!
Hey, first tks for the good videos you do , helps me alot :)
I question, I want to do what you doing in this video and I have rx5700/xt, I need to change place, going to have removal all and assembly again.

What is the useful time of the card? Sapphire, run at optimal conditions
They can run for 5+ years as long as you undervolt them properly and take care of them. Dusting, etc.
Thanks man worked really well for a while! A bit unstable wattman kept crashing and resetting to defaults though
Try the overclock settings on miningchamber.com!
@@MiningChamber I actually did and been going well since haha awesome videos bro!
@@MiningChamber say i do this on my main ATX pc case will my PC run hot and explode or do i need to buy Mining Racks or Rig.
hi. great job and thanks alot.
after a power failure wattman sets value to default value
what should i do to make default value for the gpus? would msi after burner works better?
or is something to set in RBE OR More power tool to make it set to values after power surges.
thanks in advance
Thank you.
Hey! Generally 750mv is really good and most my cards only run at 780mv so no need to try to push it too low!
The girlfriend got in a major car accident and I completely forgot you replied. I looked into hive OS and think it’s pretty neat. I’ll do more research on it shortly and check out your videos. Currently am running windows 10 with the Radeon latest software and I am having an “we detected a driver timeout” constantly appear when I boot windows, try to mine, or do anything. It seems GPU2 is constantly crashing even at stock settings. GPU1 performs normally though. Spent 2 days on this issue and I’m stuck. Any chance you can add me on discord or such? Have any suggestions? I have tried a lot already but to no success.
Edit: removed my discord info. I joined yours. Thanks!
Awesome just always make sure to backup bios!
Hi, nice video. It helped me to tweak my gpus. I have modified six cards but one of them are showing 20 % incorrect share ratio at the same setting as others. Do you have any advice what to do? Thanks
Thank you! I would try pushing that card a little lower on memory and see if that helps!
So i got to 21:24 and now it will not let me open AMD software because no GPU is found. Go to device manger and it says windows has stoped this device because of issues (code 43). any help?
Got that fixed. so now I moded each GPU seperate and they worked great. when I put the whole rig together . It reads all 4 GPUs, buy #3 and #4 are showing 0 hash and error code says "failed to allocate buffer for DAG though device as enough memory, try to increase virtual size of memory using bigger swap file"
Thanks!
okay so I just increased my virtual memory to 32000 and it worked. Fingers crossed.
Oh awesome sorry I thought I replied! Our 5 tips must do for mining in windows 10 video covers this, feel free to check it out!
first of all thanks for yoir great video.
next i have a question that my setting on amd oc tool restore tofrequency : 2000 and voltage to 1195.
i wonder why it restore to default and how to keep that values you set for my mining rig.
thanks in advance and great work
Are you using an adapter to run the HDMI cable to the motherboard? My Biostar TB250 motherboard does NOT have an HDMI port. It only has a USB 2.0 and 3.0 port. What kind of adapter are you using?
I plugged in the HDMI into the GPU in our mining rig build video, you can do that if your mining in windows and just turn off the monitor after you stabilize your rig!
I used this guide to Flash my RX5700xt (no problem huge thank you!!) however i am now having fan curve drops while running phonexminer, even on stock bios Wattman just flattens the curve and drops it down to ~1100 RPM or off entirely. been trying to find a solution on my own but it doesnt seem to be addressed anywhere. hoping the community has some ideas or solutions...
Hmm that is odd, try to set a certain percentage for the fan speed. Like a fixed fan speed 50-60%
@@MiningChamber thanks for getting back, it turns out Phoenixminer’s arguments were overriding the fan so I preset it “ -fanmin 85” and now it stays constant!
Nice!! Good catch! ⛏️⛏️
I'm glad it works for so many people. For me tho it keeps saying "bios authentification signature mismatched" "error: 0FL01" Any help would be wonderful! - Have a nice day - the gpu boots fine, benchmarks fine..
Hi, thanks for the vids... quick question though, does the recommended overclock settings still good for gaming? Since i am planning to use my gaming pc to mine if im not playing, thanks in advance.
No, easiest ways is to just use the default settings for gaming and such, and load the oc profiles whenever you want to mine.
tried it with msi evoke rx5700xt, have gain about 2mh but a lot more crashing even if less overclock than stock bios, so i reinstalled stock bios back, it is not worth changing the bios for such small gains and more crash
For sure brother you can! Not a dumb question at all.
The only difference is you need a better motherboard and a better cpu and more ram! Then youl be set!
Hi,
Which pool is the best to begin mining? Hive, nice hash or others?
Those are platforms not just pools, for pools I recommend ethermine and if you need a guide for HiveOs I have one on the channel ;)
@@MiningChamber thanks. I found it
Hello brother, you are a great one, I learn every day .. a question .. I need the video where you talk about the XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC III Ultra 8GB since it is not in the list of your videos .. thanks
I'm glad you do! I don't have a video on the XFX model, Hashraptor covered it. Although they are all the same thing except the ones in the pinned comment. so you can just follow the instructions here!
@@MiningChamber thanks You are the 1 hahah I learn a lot with your videos, apart from English: D
Awwh thank you!!
Sorry Mr.
Mining with RX 580 (4 units) = ± 120 Mh / s
Or RX 5700 (2 units) = ± 110 Mh / s
Or suppose that both the total Mh/s results are the same
If the result of the ETH reward you get is the same or not,? (Note that the total Mh/s is the same, only the GPU quantity is different)
- apart from power efficiency, GPU price, etc.-
Please help answer 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey! Yes it's all about your hashrate. Result will remain the same whether you have 100 mh by 20 gpus or by 1 gpu. Although it's easier to deal with just one gpu ;)
@@MiningChamber ok thansk sir 🙏🏻
Will a Corsair HX Series HX1200 be enough to power 6 RX 5700XT Sapphire Nitro+ or the 6 PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil or should I use the Segotep GP1800G, 1700W, 80 Plus Gold. Thanks
1200 Watts should be perfect for 6 cards!!
I agree !! We can't wait to build a 5600 XT and review it!
@@MiningChamber nice will be waiting for that.
So, looks like it is one of the best version od 5700 XT GPU for maining, am I right?
You are right ;) Nitro Plus is great for cooling!
Hey bro thanks for the amazing tutorial I'm considering buying it now and I was woundering what motherboard and what processor and power supply, ram to pair it up with i would really appreciate your help

No problem brother, for 6 cards get at least a 1200 watts PSU, just make sure it's rated for 120-240v, that frame is good yes. I think that cpu works too but I would first confirm with the motherboard cpu compatibility list that your planning to buy
@@MiningChamber Thank you very much for your fast replies and help I really appreciate it brother.
I followed your video, I got 55 MH/s from your video, but the voltage seems to jump back up to 750, instead of 725. Any tips on why i see so many options on which card to choose? I see about 21 cards on MorePowerTool !
Make sure to use the same more power tool file that you save load it in the Red Bios Editor of the bios your currently modding!
Which card would you choose for the best performance, the sapphire 5700xt nitro+ or the pulse?
Performance will be very much the same, but as for cooling I do think the nitro plus is better!
@@MiningChamber I have a nitro that I'm playing with, just wanted to know if I should stick with those
Nitro is for sure a great one!
I have to apologize. I did not fully believe your review on what cards not to buy. Got 2 XFX thic III added to the rig and they hash 53 mh out of the box at 105 watts. 14 card rig now, no bios mods 732 mh
It's okay haha! 732 Mh that is awesome. Which motherboard are you using ?
@@MiningChamber Hi. Asus BTC 250 pro mining 2 x 2200 psu 8 GB ram and 256 drive. 2.56 w/MH in total which is really good compared to 4w/mh on the RX cards 1850 watts total consumption for the whole rig. Max temp 65 C, the cards are very close together.
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for this vid, getting some 5700’s. After the bios mod can we run the cards in hiveos after?
Yes!
Hi, I have built my 1st rig with 3 GPUs to start off, I followed all the steps for my powercolor 5700xt and everything went great thank you for the help!
Now I also have 2 xfx 5700xt and both have the same problem 'Amdvbflash failed to read ROM when trying to save original BIOS'
Any ideas???
Hmm did you try to unlock rom first ? Using the -unlockrom command if that failed what about rebooting the system and trying again or making sure the amdvbflash is run in administrator mode
Ok I tried a newer version of amdvb flash and it reads the ROM fine, but now when I do the amdvbflash -p 0 XXXX.rom I get a 'BIOS authentication signature mismatched' message with error: 0FL01
anybody encountered this problem before?
Which version of amdvbflash your using? Make sure it's 3.04+ and not 3.04
@@MiningChamber it's not the plus, I will look for it later and try, thank you, need to put the kids to bed now😴
Ah that's probably why! Sounds good, good luck!
I followed the steps in the video and restarted my device to complete BIOS update. Now my motherboard gets stuck on VGA and will not read HDMI connection to my monitor. Any suggestions ?
same
If you have tight budget is it worth starting with 2 or 3 cards only. ? Thank you.
Yes for sure that's completely fine

Aw thank you so much!
