- In this week's episode, the Branson Fam went to The Duttons! We attended the 1 year anniversary show of the fire that damaged their theater. This resilient family is a mainstay in Branson and one of the more popular shows in all of town. They were a finalist on America's Got Talent Season 2. Their family is among the kindest individuals that you will ever meet. In this video we also highlight The Dutton Inn and Abby's Tourist Trap which is also owned by The Duttons.

I haven't been to the Dutton show in quite a while. But I very much recommend Abby's Tourist Trap. The fudge, cobbler and ice cream are great!!

My friend and I went to see the Duttons in Oct. 2012. YES they had a very good show. Then Ben was there at that time and all of the Duttons grandchildren were little at that time
A couple of the grandkids now have a prominent role in the show. The future is in good hands with The Duttons.
Saw the Dutton’s show a couple of weeks ago for the second time. It is a fun entertaining show and will see it again when we go back to Branson

Thank you for this video! We plan to go to Branson next year. I'm always iffy about the overproduced, Broadway-like shows, and you really gave a good sampling of what their show is about. I just subbed; looking forward to watching more of your videos!

How many children and grandchildren does Shelia & Dean have
They have 7 biological kids and 7 adopted kids. In our video 4 of the biological kids were in the show. They do a pretty good job of keeping the family members out of the limelight that do not want to be in it. So a head count of all of the grandchildren is kind of difficult.
@@BransonFamVlog I know when my friend and I went to see The Duttons, there we're 3 boys (Ben, Timothy, & ______) and 2 girls (Amy & ______) plus Mom & Dad and at least 15-20 grandchildren plus 3 wives and 2 husbands. (Ben introduced each family.)
Nice video. However, I take exception to calling the Duttons “Musical Warriors.” Sure, it’s a small thing, but words matter. Language matters. We have too many people ‘looking for a fight’ in too many aspects of our lives these days (see: politics). Not everything has to be a fight. The Duttons have overcome several challenges in the family - - as many families face. The Duttons are gifted musically and have worked hard to become a top billing show in Branson - I would encourage anyone to see their show. But let’s stop short of labeling them as “warriors” or “fighters.”
We understand where you are coming from. We also understand the toll that cancer has on people and we honestly believe it is a fight. They had one of the young kids battle cancer for most of his life and he continues to do so. Amy has been battling cancer. Those are not the words that we have created, that is a general term for fighting cancer. Jayme lost her Mom to cancer. She fought it to the bitter end and lost her battle. So while I agree with you that the term might be used too often, I think you are being insensitive to the families that have to go through the cancer fight. No one comes out of it the same as they went into it.
