Tommy always makes a perfect choice for the song, he always adds just enough metal to make it perfect. So happy you got back to Tommy, hope you make it more. His last name is pronounced Yohansson, but he sometimes pronounces it the american way in the vlogs, simply because people from the English speaking countries always pronounce his name that way, so he's kind of going with the flow. So basically, Yohansson is correct, but if you say Johansson you're good, because he does it himself when he speaks English

One of my favourite Christmas songs turned brand new by hearing it in Swedish.
4:40…NICE! Love that he brought a little grit & metal in here. 😊 Happy day!

See the warmth and love in Tommy`s eyes when he sings in his own language, this wonderful, Swedish song. Because Oh, holy night is originally from Sweden 😊. Tommy was saying his last name in "English", not Swedish.

Tommy uses his americanised pronunciation. In Sweden you would say Youhansson where as the last o is not an open o but a closed one like in Arizona.

Nice reaction =0) Tommy is without doubt, for me the best of the best!! Hälsa honom så gott från hans fans i Sverige nästa gång ni ses. 😃

I don't see reactions to his non-Christmas solos. They are awesome. She's Gone is mind blowing but all are good. Everything from Disney to Queen to his own covers of Sabaton.

Not every song Tommy does, goes metal. Check out his Band Majestica with their christmas album. The Story of Ebenezar Scrooge is an epic masterpiece and the song "Joy of christmas" ist just brilliant without metal. He has a perfect feeling how much "metal" a song needs. Helga Natt is a swedish traditional and the original of O holy night. He does it with great respect.

The joy of christmas is my absolute favourite Christmas song. So much emotion and Tommy's clear voice really shines here. Thank you for mentioning it🙏

Since Tommy is doing a "Christmas calender" this year. I think he will do O Holy Night in a slightly different version just before Christmas or in Christmas Eve ( at least I hope so ). Have you heard his version of Sabatons Christmas Truce? I think it was yesterday he did that. Today it's the Grinch with several guests.

If you are a metalhead... you are by definition NOT evil... may look it.. but trust me.. if the sh*t hits the fan.. you want a metalhead by your side.

A very appropiate choice for the season.
Yo- han-sson, equal stress on all syllables.

I would say that there is a little more stress on Yo than on Han, and the H is almost silent, so it's like "YOansson".
English speakers tend to put the stress on the Han part, and say it like "Joe HANson".

Ok. Not that i think it matters to Tommy....but i will try to help you with the pronouncing of his family name. Only two things is different how you pronounce it and how we Swedes do it. First the emphasis should be on the first J "o" hansson....and second...you see that it have an "o" also in the end...not "e" as you English speaking ppl pronounce it 😉 So first "o" pronounce as the "o" in "do" and the last "o" as in "won". I hope it helped a little........wasn`t easy to explain in text 😆
