2nd race had a cool angle. Thanks there. Still some weird cuts, but I assume those may need to be ironed out in the change from long course presentation to short course. Please save the odd angles for replays
at least from that angle you can see who's winning. But I prefer the classic angle at 6:58. They should stick to that so we can clearly see who's winning the race. Nothing too zoomed in, or overhead from behind trying to be fancy.
The swimmers complained abput the threat FINA gave them, and talked about having a more professional sport, but yet here they are swimming unshaved and with full beard. If you wanna be threated like a pro, THEN YOU MUST ACT LIKE A PRO
I believe that racing at these kind of competitions (and not only at the ones that are organized by FINA) is a sign that swimmers want and need a more professional sport, and I think they are acting like pro's. The shitty argument you said does not make them less professional lol.
Because in this format of swimming through out the year most of them are competing during hard training cycles and if you shave and taper for every meet it looses it’s specialness to a certain extent simply put they don’t need to shave as they don’t want to
This was about a month before winter nationals. Why would they shave down for this? What a dumb argument. The ISL still needs to find proper scheduling.
Imagine you're micheal Chadwick, and the difference between your team winning or losing Is all based on if you can best caeleb dressel in a 50 free short course... rip
@@XDF745 that's what I was saying lol. I was pointing out how it would suck to be in that position since dressel is the most dominant short course swimmer litterally ever
@@RegretMSTRPWN He'd need to swim SCM far more often than he does to claim to be the most dominant short course swimmer ever. SCY doesn't count because only the US uses this format.
@@XDF745 scam and scy are extremely similar. Theres a little bit more swimming in scm so the underwater is slightly less valuable, but theres still the same amount of turns which is where dressel dominates
wouldn't the skins be much more interesting if you could got points per round of racing? So the maximum amount of points the "winner" will get is still 27, but he could also get less because he didn't win the first two rounds.
Hassan Maje The ISL has short course meters because it is cheaper and is more fun to watch. Also they can have event’s such as the 100 Im(which they will have in season two) which is one of the spectator’s favorite.
Michael Tran what is happening is a skins Race. It is where they do 3 50s and have three minutes rest and they knock it down by half every single time the round finishes.
His third time was almost faster than Michael Andrew’s first time. Dressel is overpowered.
Flub I didn’t know you watch these videos?!?
I didnt know you watched swimming
Bruh
Dressel casually doing 3x50 build on 3mins

Dressel is op its like having a cheat code to a game 😂
Dressel's start and turns are insane
Caeleb is a smurf report him
Idk if many people will get that reference, but I like it.
I get it
5:30. Oof he didnt get to drink his water ;-;

this league is a great idea
Having Dressel in your team is like having the smartest kid in class in your team
I swam at a meet this weekend and it had skins but it went from 8 to 6 to 4 to 3 to 2 then the winner
We need to run this back at Collegiate meets
He is new Michael Phelps. I believe that he is going to be a legend.
He isn't the new Michael Phelps. He is the new Caleb Dressel.
He's not the new Caeleb Dressel. He is Caeleb Dressel
His speed & endurance just unbelievable, doesn't breathe in the last round!
6:35 genkidama
6:32 they look like they're all getting arrested
omg in third time he didnt breath
He did. To the left.
A person who can swim 50m. discipline without wasting air and become the first, he can hardly be beaten in three attempts!
Dressel is a killer 💥
michael andrew is the Nate Diaz of ISL lol @0:50
Ds the best
Melhor saída e virada do mundo atualmente é a de Dressel👏👏👏
Chadwicks was late off the block
This was meters right?
I was there. Cool
This is entertaining it’s cool that they’re making swimming more of a spectator sport.
Also if this is American why is it short course meters
It's not American, it's even called International Swimming League
4:36 NOS

Chadwick didn’t even get a chance to sip on some water🤧
What a beast
He completely backed down the second 25 of the second 50, already won the race, might aswell stop swimming amiright?
He’s toying with them....
He got some unique form about his strokes when he lifts his arms up. Dude its all about his start and that freakin dolphin kick, and the turn!
DRESSEL! I am a big fan from ASIA..Legend like Michael Phelps..😙😀
Lynn Montero not like michael phelps, more sprint like
@@aramkhachaturian8043 ..Both are legends

Why does dressel swim with the cap bent in the zone of the ears?
PABLO FERNÁNDEZ it could be too uncomfortable for him or that’s just how he prefers to wear the cap
