    Great content, I like your enthusiasm and explanation. Came here for the Nimzo and wasn't disappointed.
    I've seen many older people trying to explain lines but oh man you're doing really great.

    I’ve faced the Nimzo many times (not knowing I was facing it until your great explanation) and have employed it as well. Thanks for the great tutorial! ✌️

    I’m a 46 Chess enthusiast but never really gave it the time I had wish to learn it. Now I am taking that time and got here for the Nimzowitch. Your work is refreshing. I’ll stick around your channel. Thanx for sharing.

    Great explanations on the lines and reasons why. makes it much easier to understand and actually easier to memorize than just move orders

    • @ChessGeek1
      @ChessGeek1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right, memorizing moves is hard and often not so necessary. Understanding the ideas is much more helpful in game!

    Nice point of view. For me is missing Colorado gambit option - unusual and interesting in fact.

    hey! Thanks for covering my suggestion once again! I have another suggestion once again. I'm getting pretty comfortable with my defense for 1. e4 but I'm having problems with my defense for 1. d4. Because I keep playing Kings Indian, I need another opening to perhaps branch out, and get my opponent out of theory. Could I have your insight on the English Defense 1. d4, b6?
    Once again, really love your content, man. Keep it up!

    I've been replying with 1. Nc6 against 1. e4 on my own, since it leads to unfamiliar positions for my opponent, but I didn't understand the position myself when they follow the mainline which is indeed pushing to e5, felt very cramped
    Computer doesn't seem to like that c5 push to break the structure (bishop can defend that after checking and manoeuvring around), it prefers f6 and not even taking back w the knight but rather w the e-pawn and castling long in many cases (knight goes to e7)
    Video was still very helpful so thank you!

    Спасибо за хороший материал. Обычно я после3. е5 играю 3.. f6 вместо 3.Сf5.. Ход 3.. f6 хорош для блица.

      It is not a website, but an application instead called "Chessbase"

    Good stuff, I would like to see an analysis on simplifying complicated openings (Sicilian) by choosing sideline moves to reduce complexity for players that are not 2700 and know all the lines.

    • @ChessGeek1
      @ChessGeek1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a good idea, thank you. I agree the Sicilian is incredibly hard to learn with all the theory, so this could be helpful!

    I love putting two knights as black if white plays d4 and it's called two knights tango!

    • @ChessGeek1
      @ChessGeek1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The 2 knights tango is when the white pawns are on d4 and c4 right?

    • @Time_X_1234
      @Time_X_1234 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ChessGeek1 yeah! I love the opening even tho it's not recommended to play. I think it's romantic cause u know tango?

    1.e4 Nc6 2.Nf3 Nf6!? what about this line? Why didn’t you cover this?

    • @MusicPlaylistsChannel
      @MusicPlaylistsChannel 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because it's a bad response (from +0.2 to +1.0), better to transpose to the Italian in stead. (2. e6)
