I've been letting it ring out and then jumping in on the F5 part of the next riff. Even live though, RHCP only have 1 guitarist, so do they use a looper or something for that part?

The first 2/3/1 why do I have to hold down 3 if Youre not even strumming that string
Why even have the 3 finger on the 3rd string if you aren’t playing that string, super confusing
