One thing they have not touched on yet is a thing that happened when I was working at a hospital as a security guard late at night. I found a drug addict in the church room and he was sleeping and I could see he was high as fuck with needles everywhere. I was going to remove him out of the hospital when I noticed he had a machete just beside him. So instead of taking him out myself i locked him in the room and called the police and waited for them to bring him out. Locking someone in and wait for assistance is also very good in self defense situations.

This series is so amazing. I really don’t want anyone to win. All of you are top notch. Ramsey not catching the flirting is a real thing and unfortunately the longer it goes on the more the aggressor feels that you are along for the ride.
This episode was very holistic. And I love the real world scenarios especially scenario III which happens more often than one thinks. Whoever came up with this challenge is a genius
Ramsey being oblivious was the best part. I guess you just need to practice till you get it right, so what if you lose the scenario at times and end up fuc**, yeah i gotta pee too.
I think the interesting take away is that the hypervigilance towards violence and the tunnel vision about weapons, really endangered the competitors when it came to other hazards they could encounter, including the third scenario. Ready for a man to jump out of a cupboard and attack you but not ready for the boss to try to force you into cheating because of the power disparity. I also think that Ramsey should have gotten more points. MJ is an excellent method actor and she really made the scenarios believable.
I thought that work situation scenario was great. Not every self defense situation solution is physical and often can be deterimental. Using your brain and recognizing the situation is often key. Well done to Icy Mike.
@Martial Arts Journey 😂 It's an amazing thumb nail. Icy Mike pulled off the perfect creeper guy. I'm a bit confused by some of the other responses aswell.
Just that third scenario alone makes this the best and most relevant self defence challenge ever. One of the absolute most important lessons of martial arts, should be to be able to set boundaries and be firm about them, without being aggressive. And from there, get out of uncomfortable situations. Showed this to my gf and we had a good talk about how serious and realistic this scenario is, for both men and women. Well done, love the series, already looking forward to next episode!
Honestly, I WAS gonna participate! But I accidentally glued my hands together, so I couldn’t make it 😓 On the bright side, I'm getting pretty good at typing with my nose! 👃🏻
@@lusteraliaszero I agree. I was just saying that the situation is not done until you follow up and action is taken. If you don't follow up it'll only be worse in the future.
@@lusteraliaszero Google "HR is not your friend." She is the boss. She is who HR reports too, and she is who decides what HR does. She decides how much the HR employees are paid. She is decided when they are fired. She decides what reports are passed up to the owners, if any, and she can take action on the reports without notifying anyone above her in 99% of companies. HR has one and only one job: make sure employees are being productive. If you are feeling bad about your boss, you are not productive, so you need to go. If you are threatening lawsuits against the boss, you are threatening lawsuits against the company, and you are threatening lawsuits against *them.* HR works for the company. They are part of the thing you are threatening to harm by reporting these things. So HR takes the report, tries to trick you into signing away your right to sue, then fires you. There job is to get rid of troublesome boat rocking employees, not to help them. If you have a complaint against a co-worker and you think it can't be solved peaceably (and if it can, do it yourself) only go to HR *if you know you are more important than who you're complaining against.* HR only has one job, do whats best for the company, and if there is a spat between two employees the one that's most useful is the one that stays. Period. It's xxxxing crazy how often people think HR is supposed to protect employees. They're not cops. They don't enforce laws. They don't make legal complaints on your behalf. They are employees of the company who are under the orders and control of the company for the benefit of the company.
This has to be my favourite of the the episodes so far. To create such real-world worst-case scenarios while wearing protective gear is just genius. It really shows how wits come into play before physical alterations mostly, which for me is how close this show is to actual real-world confrontations.
I love that there were much more nuanced scenarios this time, really made me think on the layers and complexity of actual self defense. People often forget everything before the escalation. The final scenario being especially tricky. Watching everyone go I was thinking "how would I get out this scenario with minimal confrontation but also not complying with what they want?" Great move by mike, kept his cool, truly earning the icy mike name.
Good job, everyone! The last bit was unpredictable. But that happens but no one ever really think that it's a self-defense situation. Interesting to see.
I really enjoy Matt and loved his approach to each challenge here. It really shows how an ounce of communication and planning can be worth a pound of cure with thia kind of stuff.
What a great series. Glad i read the comments and stayed to the last scenario a very difficult one especially when you suddenly get accused of molesting you didnt do.
That third scenario was definitely the most challenging to navigate. So many things could go wrong, leaving you as the man the apparent bad guy and having to defend yourself legally. Icy Mike did an excellent job getting out of it. That scenario, or variations of it, do happen much more often than people think, and even in online versions. I've been in a similar scenario virtually, where no possibility of accusations of contact could be made, but not physically. In my case, I reminded the person that I was already in a relationship and she got defensive, but stopped her advance. If she hadn't, I'd have just logged out and gotten out of the situation that way.
There is one defensive line that do work with most women: "I like men". She let go and does not claims to have been harrassed. On the other hand It also works if you want to bang her as she instantly lowers her guard and allows conversation to happen.
I thought after the zombie apocalypse you could not top that off, but this episode has been by far the most interesting one. I can't believe this series is getting better!
Loved this episode. As a self defense instructor I can say that scenario based training is important especially the third scenario. I liked Mike's approach to the third scenario.

@@abuzittinjopjopsky Being prepared to meet death and the inevitable tragedies that precede it is not thinking negatively. It's a gift that separates us from the animals.
This was simultaneously the most hilarious and intense episode. Whoever wins this championship definitely deserved it!
I'm not very sure who came up with all these scenarios, but I admire the sadism😂
Seriously though this series is the best thing to happen in you tube for a long time, love it! Keep up the good job and I'm really looking forward to the next episode
Thanks! Jeff Phillips is the person to praise/blame for the scenarios 😄
@Martial Arts Journey Well, he really is creative, gotta give him that. Let's hope he's up for a season 2 with more fun for us and torturous for you ideas😂
these episodes really show that the best martial art is knowing how to get the hell out of and avoid situations
@@rodpierce8468 I think it's more that making that critical "go, no-go" decision is so critical, and is so often neglected. It's all about making decisions under duress.
This is the best self-defense video on the internet.
I'm speechless.... A lot of food for thought here!
Jeff Phillips and his team deserve a lot more attention and credit.
All Hail, Icy Mike! Absolutely brilliant escape! Also, the first scenario brought up two very memorable experiences. I'm with Seth - we're DONE here.
We NEED to have a season two of this. Some of the best youtube content ive ever watched. The challanges are amazin, the people are equally as good sometimes eaven better, the zombie one and mikes story was just out of this world, we Need more
Im gonna keep commenting this everywhere but Rokas had better get Master Wong for season 2. Or have Master Ken as the final boss or something.
Definitely. Maybe with an editing team too so the episodes can be put out faster
It makes me so sad that the episodes didnt do as well as expected, views-wise. This is the most fun I've had with youtube in years
I just wonder - they would have to create different scenarios cos now everyone knows :-)
This is probably the most entertaining show online. I love watching each of these guys respective channels and the only thing better is seeing them all collaborate. They definitely need to do more awesome projects like this. 👍🏽
"he's a black belt with 2 white stripes"
"I thought you were sensei not sensitive"
MJ indeed is the best improvisational actress of this generation
I love Ramsey "I really want to know why poop man stabbed blood man"
Third scenario was smart and intensely well-acted. Wow.
This series is so amazing. I really don’t want anyone to win. All of you are top notch. Ramsey not catching the flirting is a real thing and unfortunately the longer it goes on the more the aggressor feels that you are along for the ride.
Mike was a genius. Played along and then run for his life
Tbh Matt's reaction to abuse was perfect. The closed door didn't change anything.
This episode was very holistic. And I love the real world scenarios especially scenario III which happens more often than one thinks. Whoever came up with this challenge is a genius
Jeff Phillips 🌟
Ramsey being oblivious was the best part.
I guess you just need to practice till you get it right, so what if you lose the scenario at times and end up fuc**, yeah i gotta pee too.
The editing and explaining the judges ruling was cool.
Okay MJ is the MVP of this episode.
"I think more self-defense schools should take time practicing this sort of thing." I concur Ramsey...I concur.
Ramsey is such a gem, I love this guy
They all are rare gems. Each in their own way. Just love Icy Mike ( such a mega chad dad. ). And sensai seth is just to damn funny.
Seth prefacing the 1st scenario with: « so ive been on a lot of bad dates » is brilliant
That thumbnail though.
Thumbnail needs to chill out
So does poop man. Would hate to be in that situation irl.
@@MrRaccoon879 it's like that in jails and mental institutions
"That thumbnail though"... I'm oblivious, is this a compliment or the opposite? 😄
Mike lifting his hands to his face is the most sincere thing I've ever seen on the the intertubes.
He was in disbelief 😂😂
What part was that?
@@F.A.-- Scenario #2 - Bloody guy vs. poo guy. You can see Icy Mike do a Home Alone thing in disbelief (or disgust).
Maybe the right solution was to protect yourself, but I love how Rokas saved both patients.
Honestly, I WAS gonna participate! But I accidentally glued my hands together, so I couldn’t make it 😓 On the bright side, I'm getting pretty good at typing with my nose! 👃🏻
Haha how the hell did you manage that?
Allright Jesse, I think they know you wanted to participate really bad from your comments on the last 5 videos.
After seeing this I would think you might start to be glad you didn't participate!
Karate training makes everything better! 🔥 Even typing with your nose
We hope to see you in Season 2!
Ramsey had me laughing my ass of in this one! The look he gives at 18:27 when she touches his knee is priceless.
The last situation was very creative and is actually pretty scary
"I thought you were Sensei not sensitive": absolute belter of a line😂
Ramsey is my favorite in that last challenge. Flirting? Who is? But I just want too keep my job
8:26 Best line xD "I thought you were Sensei, not sensitive" hahaha
Mike's reaction to the boss situation was the best, but you'd definitely need a long term strategy after that.
yeah reporting it to hr
@@lusteraliaszero I agree. I was just saying that the situation is not done until you follow up and action is taken. If you don't follow up it'll only be worse in the future.
@@jatbatman fair enough, pretty true.
@@lusteraliaszero or flipping her round faster than you can say hr and showing her who the real boss is
"I thought you were sensei not sensitive!"
I'm done bro
🤣🤣
I just simply love Mikes solution to the third scenario
Ramsey has officially become my favorite martial arts TH-camr after that office scenario.
He's been my favorite even before this series.
What a performance by the actress - convincing and quick to adapt!
Yep, her acting made it. Very convincing.
Mike literally lifting and moving the girl was great :) And clueless Ramsey was just priceless :D
Good job, everyone!
The last bit was unpredictable. But that happens but no one ever really think that it's a self-defense situation.
Interesting to see.
"Bye. Have fun fighting each other." Lol. Priceless.
I really enjoy Matt and loved his approach to each challenge here. It really shows how an ounce of communication and planning can be worth a pound of cure with thia kind of stuff.
I understand but you cannot plan selfdefense because the only things that happen to you are the one you did not plan for. But I agree with the rest.
@1individeo Agreed, hope for the best and plan for the worst.
You really changed my whole idea on self defense. Scenario 1 and 3 is something I will have to take into consideration
Seth blocked that water and all I could think was "CHUBBY SURPRISE"
Wow!! This should have been worth some points! I want this to be a Netflix series!!! Outstanding job!
You guys are covering such a diverse set of scenarios. Bravo to everyone who helped put this together.
"...bye, have fun fighting each other" 😂 mister Dewey is hilarious as always. Oh man😂😂😂
Everyone: I think I managed to keep my girlfriend out of a dangerous scenario.
Seth: I'm breaking up with this girl after this
Ramsey: "I REALLY want this job, though..." xD
Icy Mike's resolution to Scenario III was COLD. Still hoping for his comeback.
One could say it was... ICY
*STANDING APPLAUSE* Guys this is incredible and goes very deep! Can´t wait for the finale and season 2!
Being single I'd just protect my job but Mike's solution was freaking genius.
"Can I go to the bathroom first?" Icey Mike is the GOAT 🐐
Ramsey in the office with his boss was the highlight 😂😂
Lol Ramsay was like that dense anime MC in that office scenario.
Hahaha that was hilarious, but also kinda relatable, I tend to be quite blind to people flirting with me
What a great series. Glad i read the comments and stayed to the last scenario a very difficult one especially when you suddenly get accused of molesting you didnt do.
In the third scenario I would probably be acting like Ramsey, I'd be like "why is this woman acting so weird" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow, the office scenario is fantastic. It really gives you pause with how one interacts in a profession situation. This is a great series!
@@1individeo taking notes...
I thought after the zombie apocalypse you could not top that off, but this episode has been by far the most interesting one. I can't believe this series is getting better!
MJ is scarier than Poop Guy.
100%
Loved this episode. As a self defense instructor I can say that scenario based training is important especially the third scenario. I liked Mike's approach to the third scenario.
Gabi Kicking Rokas for unintentionally grabbing MJ is the cutest thing ever 😂
This is So damn amazing, I hope you guys get the attention you deserve!
If it was the other way around tho...
@@Un1-ju2pq tell that to Gabi ... xD

“ yeah… and in the end… YOU TOUCHED A BOOB!!! “
And proceeds to chase him with a kick.

Rokas I am litteraly impressed by what you and your partners have done, this is really clever, scenarios are amazing and entertaining, point system 👍... Its an amazing job. 👍
Thanks! The praise for scenarios and scoring system goes to Jeff Phillips!
Fucking incredible! Thanks for giving Jeff Phillips work a wider audience!
I'm in awe, how you two guys, Rokas and Jeff, are just throwing the new Gold Standard about everything youtube and self defense related out there!
Best episode so far, by a wide margin. And Mike is a genius with that last move
Icy Mike had a clean exit on the 3rd scenario: kudos 👏
Again, Matt was such a great addition to the series. Everyone is great at fighting, but he brings some amazing insights when it comes to self-defense
I don’t know how you guys did it,but the show keeps getting better and better!
Shows about self defence would usually be one dimensional with all with the emphasis on defending against physical harm weather it be from multiple assailants or weapons, but you guys went deeper with the second challenge of the show!
Amazing work guys!
