Yeah I would be so frustrated with a peninsula that has pumps on the viewing end - so if I EVER get the funds I have an idea I think solves that problem combining my 3 favourite types of tank.
I will also say that tank manufacturers should make their tanks with more glass above the water - Tunze wave boxes should be almost standard I feel in higher flow tanks ;)

Nano up to 40gallons or 160 litres in the display for the same reason you said. Many fish, in particular useful ones like tangs cannot be used and because of that husbandry methods have to be different to allow for the lack of utilitarian animals. The nano refers to the difference in husbandry required through display volume size

Cap on a nano size? 🤔 In the US its generally 30 gal and under which is about 120L to 150L ball park?
You kinda have a point on the larger size of what you consider nano. Id like to have a JBJ cube of 60 gallons which is 250L or so? 60cm cube is...kinda nano proportions so if you view it like that? You might be right. 🙂

    • @seafriendlyreef

    Nano Tank:
i think the definition of a nano tank should be the smallest possible. This doesnt mean "the smallest one to keep clownfisch" or whatever.
So i think - since there are even 30 Liter tnaks - this should be 30-100 Liters. I have a 80 Liter one myself and is works great. It was preowned and i kept the fishes he had in there. Everyone in there seems happy. So sickness, no stress, no deaths. For 18 months now.
