  • This video is from the 2024 Geneseo Airshow on Saturday 13 July 2024.
The Fokker DVII and Dr1 are full scale reproductions with modern engines.
The aircraft are based out of the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, NY.
We welcome you to stop down and see these and other aircraft at the museum.
I used a few exterior shots from other talented media creators who were covering the airshow.

I am wondering one thing, is it true that the speedometer on the Fokker DVII is located on the wing supports on the right side of the pilot? And what is the name of the camouflages in the video? I love the planes and your videos!

You can see one mounted on the left wing supports in the video

The anemometer is the spinning cups you see on the left wing strut when looking forward. It measures the airspeed in Kilometers per hour.
The camouflage is known as "Lozenge" there was a 4 color and a 5 color version.
The colors on the top were different from the bottom.

@@briansilcox5720 The engine is a Fairchild Ranger L-440-5 (200 hp)
it is inverted to put the cylinders on the top to resemble the Mercedes DIII
