Service by definition is the action of helping or doing work for someone else.
Showing kindness and favor to others. Helping, assisting, and aiding those in need.
Selfish people do not serve, because they are to invested in themselves to pour
into others. It is important that we have a heart of selflessness, with no expectation
of gain when we enter into service. We must lay aside our own agenda and be willing
to lay down our life in service!
Value of Service as a Spiritual Discipline:
As with most, if not all, of the spiritual practices, the spiritual discipline of service goes
very much against the grain of our culture. However, when we make them a part of our
life, we find incredible freedom from a life of duplicity, manipulation, arrogance, and
resentment.

 Real Servants Do Every Task with Equal Dedication - Whatever you do, work
at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.
