    The Yoshi Mod is so sick. It's as if the original game had the ability to ride them (something I wish I could have done since my childhood). I love the improvements you've made on the Yoshi as well since the first unveiling.

      9a3eedi yeah probably, i don’t know how much the N64 can handle exactly, but it seems that Kaze only used it on the terrain in this level, all the other stuff with outlines is just the texture. The geometry of the level itself also looks pretty simple, so I’m guessing that makes a difference too.

    You might want to slightly offset those stretching blocks from one another to avoid z-fighting

      @Ninjario Picmin When two plains (typically horizontal, hence the Z) or portion of plains exist exactly at the same height both surfaces' texture jitter and appear to intertwine because the rendering engine gets confused as to what to display on "top"

    YES, THANK YOU!!! This (and the powerups) would have been perfect for Mario 64. I have been typing Super Mario 3D World and other similar searches for years and have not gotten anything like this. I'm so glad to finally see it :)

    The graphics and music are really good on their own yet the level design itself looks fun, faithful to SMW and challenging. I hope people that like your stuff and can afford to donate do it (unfortunately I can't) because this is the kind of game related things that deserve constant support since you are constantly delivering 10/10 content for an already awesome game

    Nice art direction, however i think floor grass textures would look good on 2 of the 4 grass walls for the grass since having grass only on the edges looks a bit weird.

    Really surprised Nintendo doesn't give a chance to fans and individual developers that make RomHacks or Fangames like Sega does with Headcanon and Christian Whitehead...
    I'm sure they would be at a higher point.

      Part of Kaze mastery is using an old engine and shaping it to his command to implement great things. That's an useless skill for Nintendo if we are frank.
      Level design on the other hand, could be useful, since Kaze basically studied what makes a 3D platformer work for years...but so many more people have done that too, so he doesn't stand out for a company but greatly stands out for us players.
      I wish I was wrong, tho.

    I wonder if split-screen multiplayer would be possible for SM64. If so, then i'd be very interested on how Kaze would go about creating that, seeing as he makes practically anything possible within the SM64 engine.

    Aren't the blocks supposed to be flat while they're spinning? I think that would give a lot more context visually to being able to pass through them.
