Additional doc: If you have employment verification/confirmation letter from your current Indian company, you can submit that too. It is optional though.

I was going through the checklist of documents for visa on their website. Wanted to ask you about the item in checklist - Proof of qualification and experience certificates for future employment in Germany. For this was our degrees and experience letters from past and current office enough? Do we need joining letters, payslips, transcripts, etc??

What should be the visa type and sub-category for the dependent spouse traveling along with the applicant?
    Same as an applicant?
    Employment visa:
Subcategory: Blue Card, ICT, ZAV pre-approval + dependants
    Please confirm.

Hello, Thanks for this detailed process. Really appreciated. Just wanted to clarify one thing regarding health insurance and travel insurance. The checklist for EU blue card mentions the following
(Certificate about compulsory health insurance (Gesetzliche oder private Krankenversicherung)
from German employer valid from date of employment.
Please note: If not already included in the compulsory health insurance a separate travel health insurance has to
be presented for the time frame from arrival in Germany until beginning of employment (see below).
Does this mean one needs to have a compulsory insurance at the time of interview from the employer or i need to purchase separate travel insurance and also public / private insurance from the recommended german insurer recommended on india.diplo. ?
Please can you clarify the above statements mentioned in the checklist ? Its confusing.

You can purchase any travel insurance like Reliance with 6 months validity starting from joining date.

Hey, Thanks for the information. I've few doubts as I didn't find this info on their official website. I am going to apply for a EU Blue Card Visa for Germany
    1. Do I need to get my documents apostille like highest degree, birth certificate?
    2. Do I need to get my documents translated to German like all qualification documents & previous experience letter?

  • @sagar_virmani

Hey, thanks for sharing the information.
I just want to know about various experience letters that I have. I am having more than 7 years of experience, some relevant and some irrelevant to the position I am applying for.
The small firm I worked for 7 years back got shut down and there is no way to verify that employment. I do have both offer and relieving letter from them.
    How do I handle that?
Can this be a problem in getting the visa?

You cannot arrive early. Visa will start on the date of employment. In some cases, you may get 1 week early visa but not guaranteed. Anyways you should have insurance of 3 months at least.

    Hi all,
    This is aswin from Chennai.
Recently i got a job offer from Germany and looking to apply for German visa.
my doubt is to book an appointment in vfs global. since iam single in subcategory what to select?
    1) Employment -Bluecard,ICT,ZAV + dependents.
    2 ) Employment - skilled workers.
and few my friends suggest to wait sometime, till it opens for employment - bluecard + zav approval ( i.e without dependents)
could you please help on this?

    • @HelloWorld-hf8ug
      @HelloWorld-hf8ug 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

in your case it should be option -1, if your employer is going to apply for ZAV approval. you should not get confused by ' + dependents'. It just means that dependent if applying together with primary applicant of employment visa, need to book an appointment in the same category. Basically if a married person applies for employment visa, he would book an appointment in option-1 category ( provided he is eligible for BC/ ICT/ ZAV). His spouse ( if planning to travel with him) would also additionally need to book another appointment in the same category ie. option-1.
