I like the 650! Lots of things about I like,,,,but bought a 2007 Yamaha Majesty YP400 and have had her up 105 a few times. Love the weight-to-balance ratio. But, the 650 has a bigger presence and looks like a bigger bike if that's what you want. I also have a CTX700 DCT and love it too. Would not trade either for anything. Ride safe! Cool video!

With my Suzuki Burgman 650 executive I can easily do 90/95 together with my wife behind me. Protected from the wind by the windshield and the big front of the Burgman and enjoying the ride. Well try that with a naked bike....The Burgman 650 is a super cruiser. I replaced the original suspension with Hyper Pro and that is just fantastic. And if I want to shift gear than I use my left thumb....If I am cold I turn on the heaters....my longest ride in one day was more than 500 km..no sweat...even better than my Suzuki CBF 1000...
I had mine up to just about 115 on the freeway once and it felt kind of unstable, lots of wobble on the front end. But very stable up until about 108-110, Wind pressure has a lot to do with it too.
Well done son, we ain't got nowt like that in the UK to test a bike out. I've heard they'll do 130mph, I have to say I can believe it as at 5.500rpm mines showing 90mph. New CVT belt fitted though!! I dare say new tires would make a difference too.
I love my burgman 650 its such a sleeper n rare as well also thank you to all the 50-150cc guys bc of yall I embarress harleys and surprisingly many other motorcycles n they are dumbfounded when they get smoked n told its stock. I think im going to remove my 650 badges n put 50 or 150 badges on it n tell them I put a type r vtec sticker on it and all of a sudden it just woke up and V-Tec just kicked in Yo!

Just bought one of these not knowing a dam thing abt anything...I see one everyday leaving home and thought it look’d sic..but this 113mph scare’d the shit outta me😂
Solid bike at those speeds. Definitely a bit of speed wobble at anything above 110mph, but it's easily corrected. I sold mine a few years back, nothing to do with the bike just because of where I was living ( Nevada) and too many dirt roads. Overall the bike I regret selling the most. Hope you enjoy it !
Did it handle well at those speeds ? I've tried everything with mine even going downhill tucked in and I could never get it to go past 118mph on the street
draken865 I had to factor in the dirt, wind , and my weight of 190lbs. The fastest I've been is 118mph going downhill but against wind. But 127 is impressive!
Wadie Nasser it can go fast depends on alot of factors, riders weight,wind, road etc. The speedometer is off by alot. From factory they are all way off. The faster you go the more off it is. At indicated "118" mph, GPS was 104mph. So the max speed if you weigh nothing with no wind on a perfect road would be 110mph. Accurate
Yeah I have tested multiple GPS devices and all showed me doing 99-100 at about 110mph indicated. Maybe mine was off but I never did full trust it above 80mph

This is the coolest scooter I've ever seen. I'm in the process of doing research to possibly trade one of my big bikes, over 1500cc .

They’re rock steady at high speed and they’ll cruise all day at 100mph!! Ive ridden one thousands of kilometres
If you had pressed the "Fold Mirror" button, that would added 18.4mph. Those mirrors are huge.
Not an option for that model, only on the executive model.

take the power mode off - it o only helps you accelerate, or at least I found it like that.

Should have folded in the mirrors to lower drag.

Manually shift into top gear I have heard you can get it up to 125mph

Actually ,I've calibrated with many a speed trap sensor. So far it's only been off by ...plus or minus 1 or 2 mph.

Steven Brockman I've done it before, sport or power mode is the most effective. (Manual) is great but it for some reason just won't go as fast. :)

the speedometers dont read that fast boss. considering u were doing 20 mph before ur speedometer read 11mph
GPS confirmed on multiple occasions that it does read fast... actually almost every bike I've had reads about 3-5mph fast

Actually overdrive (6th gear)
from what I've tested, only improves gas mileage, not top speed.
Like baba Duke said, overdrive is best for mpg. At those speeds you need as much torque as possible, try shifting up and the bike slows down :0
i had a 1500 vulcan that wouldnt go any faster than that, so not bad for a 650cc scooter.
0-60 = 6 seconds in this video. Not bad at all for a scooter \
