1994 BMBF Nat Champs

In 1994, I finally managed to get the flagship BBC Sports programme, Grandstand to take a Mountain Biking feature. With XC mountain biking becoming an Olympic event in 1996 the main broadcaster were at last paying attention. This 20 minute piece covered the the Pro/Elite XC races from the National Championships at Eastridge Woods near Shrewsbury. With Caroline Alexander and David Baker winning the titles.
