What a tough dilemma: Those two only came this far because of their own sense of justice, and both made sacrifices of their own to protect that. It's really a great story told. It makes this music track all the more striking because neither of them are wrong but both did not come far just to quit now.
The final battle of Lost Judgement might not be as dramatic or cinematic as Judgement's (in my opinion), but themematically it was pretty awesome either way. You've fought your way through a literal army of RK thugs to come to Kuwana's aid, taken on Soma again and brought him to justice...and Kuwana is planning to blow you all to kingdom come anyway, just so he can ensure that Kusimoto-san isn't burdened anymore. Then Unwavering Belief comes in slow and melancholic first, almost as it's reflecting Yagami's sadness and disappointment that it's come down to blows again to try and convince Kuwana to do the right thing (you can even see it on his face right before the two run at each other and clash at the start of the fight). And then in the second half of the song it's becoming much more intense and bombastic, like the pair are realising the other isn't going to just back down so easily and they're starting to let loose fully. It all seems fitting for the themes of the fight though. Yagami is the idealistic one who still has faith in the law, despite its flaws, and is commited to helping out those who may fall through the cracks. While Kuwana has lost his faith in the law entirely and has made himself judge, jury and executioner, regardless of who else gets dragged down in the wake of his crusade: he kept the bodies of most of his victims on ice just so he could have leverage over god knows how many others. Though the ending suggests he mad be coming round to Yagami's side, even just a little. P.S I like how Kuwana is always holding this very specific pose when he's fighting, is that based off of a real martial arts does anyone else happen to know?
Honestly the thing that made it less cinematic was the location if this fight took place outside in the rain or something that would have been way more climactic, especially if there were slow motion rain drops in heat actions just damn that would have been great.
Sometimes I don't understand why RGG games can't win any game awards and ,also gaming media intend to give their game less points.LJ was only rated 7 points by IGN.

You really think the sound department and composers didn't compose Good & Bad to transition perfectly into Unwavering Belief, given the context? Well played :P
The fight does actually have three phases. First phase is Crane only. Second phase transitioning to the shelves is Snake only. Third phase is when he enters Heat mode and begins using every style at once. (Including Tiger)
The issue would be his health bar tbh especially if you maxed out damage upgrade Yagami become so OP that you don't see his move that much but I understand why they don't want to dragged out the fight too much due to you fought Soma before this fight

Does that song have an official name? I saw someone naming it “justice or evil” I kinda wanted it to be named “Whose justice prevails”
@@RandomCollection04 i feel like justice or evil/ righteousness or wickedness sounds more epic
I prefer it to be as Black and White.
I think the title "justice or evil" might be a question instead of saying that one side is the justice and the other evil
Awesome work man. BTW I'd love to see an extension to Break off from Kiwami 2
SO INTENSE 😥
Nice, I was kinda hoping you'd do Tough Cuss after doing the other three styles since technically it's a style theme as well as the boxing theme.

Would have been cool if he had 3 phases on this fight and 3 fighting styles he switches between per phase kinda like shibuswa

yup.. you don't see that much because his fighting stance remain the same. You'll see once he attacks. For Shibusawa you clearly see his stance
