This is a good message but far from reality....getting a promotion solely depends on how good you are at your work ,your skills and assets not being ready to work without pay hike for two years / so called loyality..we should be loyal to the company by working hard throughout our stay there ,and getting a hike is our reward..withiut reward why would anyone work...why would anyone miss a chance of getting better future by switching jobs or a better opportunity...thats what everyone does..bcoz in this world we all live to survive..even the companies do not think about empolyees first hand..they always think about how to bring the company to profit

Of course this is not a true incident but I would have paid my compliments to Rohit's parents. Give me a break!...This is not a love relationship where if you ditch your partner, you have hurt her and it's wrong....Career is a place where everyone has the right to think of personal growth and go for better opportunities....There is absolutely nothing wrong with that ...Yes an organization may have been great to us during bad times, but it still doesn't mean we can't leave the organisation if we get a better opportunity...As long as you are leaving in a good manner, by being considerate to the company and serving notice etc ...there is nothing wrong with it.... And who knows, even the other two employees who took 50 thousand and left, maybe they left because they were given that option...But if there was no such option given and they had agreed to work on that project for two years, then maybe even they would not have left... I think instead of expecting loyalty, the boss should have made the employees sign a contract that if they were willing to work on the upcoming project, they would not leave the company for the next two years, or they would be leaving right now
