Main proiblem (ignore electrical safety) is that the paper guides are no sufficient to ensure a true square cut. You end up with business cards that are slightly "trapeziod" in shape, rather than a true square edge. It's fine for "low grade cards" where you are NOT looking to impress - and a cheap looking, badly cut card is adequate. it is NOT suitable - at all - if you NEED a high quality square edged cut card. It's a shame, as with so may Chinese products, they have got it about 95% right - but then they have just cheapened the design a little too much - and then it becomes almost useless. If you can get hold of an older hand cranked "Cardmate" machine, the quality is higher - even though you have to turn the handle yourself. I have just bought one of these 300B cutters - as I was too lazy to turn the crank on the old Cardmate device. The 300B is gong back and the old hand cranked gadget gets to live on!
