Hello, big fan of your channel! Could you please do Phantom Thread, one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen! PTA was his own cinematographer and as well as director on Phantom Thread and he made an amazing movie!
Halloween had 12 films, they scared me once. Friday the 13th had 12 films, they scared me once. Texas Chainsaw Massacre only scared me once in the reboot. Nothing scared me like the Shining which until recently had one film. even as an older kid when i watched Batman...i knew the Joker was "Johnny" they crazy man that chased his wife and kid through the snow maze. Batman scared me.
It is *impossible* to make science fiction that would still be revelant 50 years down the line, Stanley Kubrick did that with 2001: A Space Odyssey! It is *very hard* to make a horror that is relevant 50 years, Stanley Kubrick did just that with this movie!
*This movie perfectly shows that Stanley Kubrick was way way ahead of his time!* I explain below. He got some jokish award for worst director and Shirley got one for worst actress, and now, *this movie is studied in film school in order to teach/learn communication of subliminal messages!* Notice how you see Jack Nicholson glance at the camera from time to time? He is actually looking at the audience in the theaters, when you see a chair and in the next cut the chair is not here that is not a mistake by Stanley, and there also the fact that of references to the Native American Genocide among other many things Stanley hid in this movie!
