(Maybe this movie takes place in the same universe as river dale?).
8 stars. This film is well cast well acted and very good. There are factual legal pitfalls that are woven into the plot and a bunch of choices that are made that propel the plot. There are definite twists and the entire film was easy to watch. Mendez was believable , Usher was attractive and credible without feeling token or just miscast in anyway. His performance was very moving. Gigandet was as usual very effective in his sinister supportive role. Gould was effective as the eccentric dead benefactor with secrets providing a comic relief and vigor to the premise. The rest of the cast seemed lost and confused as they no doubt were cast to be in what became a very entertaining and educational scam drama.
Here's my take on the movie, The Black guy was the distraction, to keep us from seeing the real Criminals which that was the people we didn't expect, lawyer, Real estate agent, but overall it was pretty good, kinda everywhere but it was ok!!
It would have been much more interesting if Leonard’s secrets actually got them into trouble. A lawyer that’s shown for 5 seconds becomes the reason for the whole story ? 🤔 not the best storyline

The movie was good. It's a thriller that always will have you thinking. The ending was just a whole 'nother thing. AMAZING and SAD. The movie really shows you the lengths people in society will go to from greed and "Dangerous Lies" for money and such. I still can not get over the ending of the movie, so touching, shocking, and saddening.

Wow, this movie is like modern day "Clue" movie. Very suspenseful and trying to figure out who's telling the truth, who's in on it, and who's the bad guy was super exciting! Haven't seen a movie like this in ages!!! Since Clue that is.
Watch an episode of Scooby Doo.... it's more entertaining, better script and has way more convincing acting despite the fact that the entire cast are cartoons!
Definitely a movie where everyone got what they deserved with the exception of the old man. I hated every character except for him. What bothered me the most is the lack of emotion in situations that would disturb a normal human being. It’s beautifully shot and the plot is somewhat unpredictable. I’ll give them that.

This was a good movie. Loved the actors. Still confused if her husband had any part other than greed and hiding the diamonds. I can’t believe she didn’t hear his last words. I wouldn’t want those diamonds. They are blood money and don’t belong to anyone except jeweler. They never said if she was able to keep the $100,000. So weird her husband loved her but there was no end to his desire of wealth. He never finished the yard or went back to school. Still don’t know what the diner robbery had to do with anything. When the diamonds and dead body were found, why didn’t she just call the police. And how she wound up with the house in the end. They also never explained how the $7000 check came to be. Was that on purpose or a mistake. Why her boss was in her house? Just crazy unexplained happenings.

This was a good movie. Loved the actors. Still confused if her husband had any part other than greed and hiding the diamonds. I can’t believe she didn’t hear his last words. I wouldn’t want those diamonds. They are blood money and don’t belong to anyone except jeweler. They never said if she was able to keep the $100,000. So weird her husband loved her but there was no end to his desire of wealth. He never finished the yard or went back to school. Still don’t know what the diner robbery had to do with anything. When the diamonds and dead body were found, why didn’t she just call the police. And how she wound up with the house in the end. They also never explained how the $7000 check came to be. Was that on purpose or a mistake. Why her boss was in her house? Just crazy unexplained happenings.
