Want to learn more about graphing hyperbolas? Check out the video I did here: th-cam.com/video/ehp6xDm4DO8/w-d-xo.html
you taught what my teacher tried to teach me in 3 hours in under 7 minutes. 10/10
Glad my video helped you Daniel!
I really liked the way that you teach, very clear and practical.
The video was really helpful. Thank you so much!!!
+Isabella Garcia I'm glad you like my videos and that they are helping you.
It's absolutely amazing how you get to the point with so much simplicity. I can't believe it... I understand these things in so little time. And it stays in my head for so long!
This was a very helpful vid that simplified everything in 6 mins thank you
This video is very clear on wording and gives lots of small tips for memorizing equations here and there. It definitely helped me a lot with a basic compare and contrast of the two.
Great! I’m glad my video was able to help you.
Appriciating work 👍👍👍
♥️♥️love & bless from india.....
Thank you, the comparison is helpful!
Your welcome!
You deserve a like👍
Thanks!
thank you!! great lesson
+Jedera Kaophong your welcome! Glad you liked the video.
awesome video. thank you.
You’re welcome! Glad my video helped you!
Great video
+salman khan ATK Thanks! Any relation to Khan Academy?
Sir ,no no relation .
Sir I just want to clear my hyperbolic and parabolic function .any suggestion
Reply must
+salman khan ATK you can check out this conic playlist of mine th-cam.com/play/PLHRatQsym1_i3muGo1wHZ3a6AkMA89uQD.html
good sir from nepal
Glad you liked the video!
Thank you sir . This video help me a lot.(my English is little bad sorry).
You’re welcome Vishnu!
So what are the similarities and the difference?
so, a circle is a special kind of ellipse. does that make a hyperbola a special kind of parabola? (ignoring one of the two curves, or taking absolute value of parabola, whatever.)
I don't know if you find that ans but anyway i try my best to answer your query.. Actually hyperbola is only a single curve which look like two parabolas when drawn in a graph due to its properties... If you say that only one part (left one or right one) is considered then it will be Not be considered as Hyperbola... And in no way parabola can relate to hyperbola... If you think hyperbola as two parabolas then by equation SS`=T.. It will be four degree equation but hyperbola is a 2 degree equation..
I saw that parabola is the exact transition between hyperbola and elipse, so its like a hyperbola which has only one focus, because the other is centered at infinity, on the other hand of the "hyperbola"
what if both y and x are negatives? How does the hyperbola look like? Ty
Well if that x and y terms are negative then it won’t be a hyperbola...you are likely looking at an ellipse equation if you multiply through by a negative one...I’d have to see the exact equation you are referring to but hope this helps...
