That shoulder pressure is no joke. Had that done to me, didn't realize how much it was hurting at the time, and my sternum hurt for a month after lol. The wrist roll tip at the end is great too.

I still remember watching Woodley holding on to wonderboy with an extremely hard guillotine choke which made me tap for wonderboy but wonderboy being such a warrior never gave up by tapping proving that he's the most toughest flexible ufc fighter ever. I feel proud that I too was born on february 11 like him
That Woodley fight was a amazing fight. Technique Tuesday is awesome. I used to get caught in the guillotine allot, trying to fight the hands never seemed to work for me, maybe It only works on low skill level fighters, but angling my body while giving my opponent a shove with my hands as i bring my head up always seemed to work from standing.

Hey, Steve, I am curious about how you do your "throttle control" And what I mean by that is how do you control the tempo of a fight, and reel yourself in when things get exciting and there is allot of emotion. First time I saw you fight, you looked young, but you seem so level and composed it was like watching a guy with with 50 years of experience fighting. You seem to keep the control allot through range, but I think there's more to it than that, every time someone tries to push the tempo, it only works for about 10 seconds and then it's back to Thompson speed, picking your shots from your range and accurately putting them on target. How do you stay so accurate?
