Yeah definitely. On hindsight I think the two size magnet combo is the best option, but by doing it all 3 ways it at least gives others pointers as to what can work, should they come across the vid.
I have rried out various Spray primers.... my thoughts.... Car primer works pretty good but it soaks in somewhat so needs a few coats. Grey or red only. The red stuff works well as a brick colour. The Range sells autocote stuff cheap in red or grey. Army painter coloured primers work really well and don't soak in. It is really good but not cheap. However it comes in a range of colours and I havr painted whole buildings from knightsofdice with that stuff in one hit and it looked awesome after a quick wash. A range of paint and primers in one is available from B&Q but it is really expensive. It coats amazingly well but the range of colors is limited. If they have the right colour you're after it is worth the extra few quid to do it all with one hit of spray. I did my KoD Jade Kindgom buildong with this to great effect. Shellac stuff seals the best by far, coats really well, and even seals the burnt bits perfectly . Zinsser BIN primer is a shellac based spray available from Screwfix cheap. Only in bright white though. hope this is useful for people. s
Nice work. Your mystery part is a pokey thing - for poking small components off the sprue.
Thank you buddy and that makes perfect bloody sense. :D It is after all crowbar shaped.
Ah! I'd not clocked it as a crowbar. A nice touch from Viv!
:D
Good call on the magnets. probably better than a pin.
