This new song from Ghost is honestly one of their best (in my opinion). I absolutely love the rhythm and so glad they're still surprising us with unexpected influences!
Yesss, I wouldn't realize until your comments. It's a big shout out to anyone out there: please, listen to baião and translates it to the guitar. It's gonna be huge! Nevertheless, Tobias was inspired by another brazilian rhythm. Do know about this? And the rhythm was our beloved/hated BATIDÃO.
Can you explain to me how you playing this song? Because I can’t play any song for the first time like this 🤷🏻♂️ Sorry but I don’t get it how you doing it!!!
I love Ghost, but I just couldn’t get into this song. The beginning with the brass, and that intro riff slapped, but I couldn’t get into the rest of it.
the lyrics are cringy " a pile of mulah " " grabbing them all by the hoohah " " and all the way to the thirties " just those 3 off the top of my head just seems cringy to me .
@@manchesterexplorer8519 fr I couldn’t stand the lyrics and then the way it sounded, I literally hated it when I heard it, but idk it’s starting to grow on me a little
I'm on the fence with this track , some of it's great and some of it isn't . The lyrics are a bit cringy at times in my opinion " grabbing them all by the Hoohah " "a pile of Mulah " " and all the way to the thirties " especially those 3 .
Honestly i really like the intro and the main riff, but the vocal melody doesnt do it for me, plus the solo doesnt really fit ghost aesthetic, pretty sure they hired a guy from Opeth to do some solos for them thats why the solo stuff doesnt sound like ghost. The new songs are okay, but they are weak compared to in my opinion awesome sounding Infestissumam. We have heard like 4 songs off the record and its nothing really impressive, dunno how many more are there but seems like its not gonna be any better than first threee albums.I think the only song that rises up to the level of first 3 albums is Faith.
I love Ghost but with some of the stuff they’ve been putting out, including this, I can see why Ghost is so fucking hated by almost every music community 😂🤣 cool guitar tho, if the song came out & it was just the guitar, drums & bass I would dig it
I love ghost but that song was repetitive and underwhelming. Could’ve been a lot better but that’s new ghost for ya. 4 riffs repeated, chorus, solo, same riffs repeated, weak ass lyrics. They used to be sooo good. Now just a mainstream radio rock band
People will find any reason to hate on Ghost. There's a lot about this song that's very interesting musically, it's catchy, and it's got a killer groove. It's very Devin Townsend.
It sounds good I just think the lyrics are cheezy and cringy . Sounds like a 13 year old rapper wrote them . " grabbing them all by the Hoohah " "a pile of Mulah " " and all the way to the thirties " those 3 off the top of my head anyways .
It’ll take time for this song to grow on me but for now the initial response was eh. I used to hate megadeth because of the vocals and now they are one of my favorite thrash bands ever. Just takes time for songs to set in. They hit different every time you listen to them as well, depending on mood and expectations and what not. I’m just a nobody so who fucking cares what I think.
This song is so f'n bad ass! Hell, this whole album is incredible! I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!
I think this song is supposed to be referencing the 1920's and drawing parallels with the 2020's.

got me boppin'
Ghost is so good, I’ll never understand why they get so much hate
Because everyone hates a winner.
Because most of the haters are just metalheads and they always complain when something sounds different to the things they like.
Because they started with Heavy Metal and become Pop Music....

I was not expecting that opening riff
this is a crazy good song tbh, very original
This song is super catchy
Big Diablo Swing Orchestra vibes in this song tbh.
Oh yeah, I keep saying this but nobody listens lol
First time I heard this I thought it was them and not Ghost.
This reminds me a lot of SOAD. Specifically cigaro. Nice playing btw👌
Great stuff man, you nailed it!!

Tobias se inspirou no forró, forró é um estilo de música do interior do brasil😂
