That "beige" is called Mojave Silver. Our Mojave Silver 450 is being built this week. I popped for the AMG package just to get rid of that gray trim around the wheels AND with the AMG package, the exhaust tips are FUNCTIONAL! And no, you do not have to get the bouncing. That is stupid. You will play with it once and then forget it. $8100 E-Active control is NOT the gimmick of the year because no one will get it.
I'm loving the looks of this Utility vehicle, Mercedes did a good job on design. Fully loaded is the only way to go on any car for me. So weird seeing a Mercedes bounce, but very funny when they do.
I’ve yet to see someone take their Mercedes out on the trails and actually make use of this air-ride control. The engineers should focus on an automatic turn signal/lane change system, since most Benz owners don’t know what the stick on the left of the steering wheel does.

so, I completely disagree with you guys about the touch pad, i bought a 2021 gle 450, and after 22 minutes sitting in my driveway after i brought it home, and ACCUTULY going through the info system, it was very very easy, the rest of the review is kind of spot on...... (kinda)..
Don't rely on that assisted steering system, I used this in my Dad's 2019 E-400 Cabriolet and it wanted to straight up steer me in a wall because the lane markers weren't perfect, only a matter of time until people die from this System. Tesla uses a bunch more Information to assess the road ahead so the Tesla won't do this. Autonomous cars can't come soon enough imo but this just isn't the way to go Mercedes!
TimBo'meh, its still somewhat new tech, and Tesla is the same. Just search a bit on TH-cam and you will see the autopilot veering into oncoming traffic

Test drove one. Huge improvement over the last gen in terms of styling and interior space. However the base GLE 350 gets a 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder. And there is a big jump in price for the GLE 450 and 3 dealerships around me didnt even have one. Bmw X5 seems to offer more for the same money.
Trackpad has haptic feedback and you can just sense what you do if you are familiar with menu, and I found it more useful and ergonomic compared to wheel version.
I'm the OG that's gonna go get me some 13x7 on some chrome daytons, 100 spoke, and put them on it and make it act like a low rider, because I'm gonna get it wired to be controlled by switches.
