I didn't say it in the video so just wanted to say it here. Using a player who has mid-level vision/contact helps in working on PCI placement and not using vision and contact as a crutch. Hope these tips help you though in getting better at the plate out on the diamond!
This showed up in my recommendations. Let me add that it helps to also not show tendencies as a batter. If you're aggressive in early innings, try taking some pitches later on. Conversely, if you're overly patient, try swinging at the first pitch if they're throwing meatballs early in the count. I also tend to be more patient with people on base since you get a lot of breaking pitches and stuff in the dirt to induce double plays or prevent that sac-fly. Also every so often you'll meet a savvy opponent that's pitching around you without doing an intentional walk. The pitcher/batter matchup is so deep and there are so many subtle things you can do on both sides to get tiny advantages.
I love strike zone 3. I like seeing my stance and still being close enough to recognize pitch breaks. The breaking balls down in the strike zone/ low and away give me problems
@@cynthiamortonpadovano6163 yeah definitely the best view to me, and I might customize it to move it slightly closer from strike zone 3. I’m new to the game from Xbox , and I want to see my players mechanics and stance.
Is there any way to invert the y-axis for the PCI? I can't find the option anywhere in the settings. I've played inverted for games my whole life so I'm really struggling with vertical control of the PCI.
The one thing a lot of guides fail to mention is to have patience. Sometimes it's hard to remember that even in video game format, baseball is a sport of failure. It's hard to do at times, but it's fun to watch yourself progress. Thanks for the guide
Sometimes I get more pumped up for a 10 pitch at bat than I do with a homerun. It feels good to be in that duel with the opposing pitcher. Glad you enjoyed the guide. Thanks for watching!

Just learning the release point has increased my hitting drastically. Great video!

Does this tips apply for the Rtts
How do you hold the left stick? I’ve seen index finger on top and thumb on bottom but that is so uncomfortable to me
great tips man
Went from 0-6 to 3-6, with 3 straight wins after this.
I have a feeling hitting and fielding will be the toughest to master

I don't believe there is any inversion of the sticks.
Great tips
I definitely need this
I played you earlier today (wisco wolves) and found you from that, thank you for this video. I’d like a rematch now 😂😭

After watching this video I hit a moon shot from Arizona into your backyard, thanks Respawn... PS. Can I have my ball back? Thx.
