Man, AiC's music and Layne specifically had such an impact on me throughout high school and my early twenties. I've never found another artist who poured as much emotion into lyrics and actual vocal delivery as Layne did. Anyone who's struggled with addiction and depression knows how hard some of those AiC songs can hit you in the gut. RIP man, your music will live on forever.
Hey man, I really love your videos. They’re very good and in depth. I am excited for the “And Justice for all…” video. I think you should also start a series about Anthrax like the one you have with Metallica.
Layne definitely did have the perfect voice for rock music. I've always believed that it was his voice and voice alone that made Alice in chains what they became. I mean Jerry Cantrell's a good guitarist but I don't know if you've ever listened to any of his solo music but it is awful. In my opinion anyway

Great work man. Most “content” is superficial bullshit, not well researched pro grade like this. TY

Layne really had one hell of a voice, and his singing had attitude to go with it. RIP legend
I need to listen to Jerry’s solo
effort. Hey Freddie Mercury’s solo effort flopped too.
Definetly a case where drugs were not "cool" or "rock n roll" ☹️
Exactly!
Never was a fan of his voice. Jerry was great on guitar
I am in total disagreement .
