What an absolute diamond of a tune - Bought this in 1992 when it first came out at a record shop in London called FATCAT RECORDS. - Some trainspotter info for you.... The pads are samples from the 1979 film ALIEN and the vinyl was released in not the usual black, but clear vinyl..... also this vinyl is not conventional, meaning its pressed so you when you play it, it plays from inside out, the track starts near the label and plays out to the edge... PRICELESS!!
1st time I heard the track, I wondered if it was from this movie. Listening again to it today, I decided to check out if I was right or wrong. Your comment please me! this is indeed priceless!

Omg this brings me back to Marco Schotel’s closing set at Polifonic Festival, Puglia between the 2 lockdowns. Me and my two friends traveled all the way down to Italy for this experience.
Guys, listen to this masterpiece on the Hi-fi stuff and you'll hear and feel the deepness of bass line and other details. Don't listen to it on some small shit that people use today..

Lol funny how some people consider this to be trance, some consider it techno, and Richie hawtin loves this track and wants it to be played at his funeral, but dislikes trance music. I would say the melody is trance, the beat is techno for sure because well trance isn’t known for having groove in its bass lines unless it’s a hybrid track.
Why pigeonhole everything? For me, it's simply a timeless masterpiece of electronic music. Period. Apart from that: In my opinion, there was trance before 95/96 ... and everything that came after that called itself trance.
