Its a perfect combination of undertale and god of war. Everything you do affects your story and you get to explore the world and play killing mobs, or explore different plotlines. It's very good and one of the best AA imo
(spoilers) so rare to witness such good cutscene, great dialogue, the animation for me is good too, after that cutscene I dozed off and I thought that its done, but no, you need to put Mary back to her coffin at the end. it's beautiful. I felt heartbroken after.

Just finished this boss fight yesterday for the first time. Doing a no kill hard mode playthrough so mary was like 7 levels higher then me, so both during the cutscenes and fight I was screaming “OH SHIT! ITS MARY!”

I thought that lot of elements were taken from Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Some powers were similar to Clan powers from that game, the "wild vampire" dudes are similar to Gangrels, vampire club is similar to Ventrue clan, etc. You could even feed on rats there. In fact, rat feeding was one of main sources of blood for Nosferatu as pretty much everyone would freak out if they see you as they are only clan that's deformed.

But Dialogue with Elizabeth also hints that there are chances where bites could turn people since she said that she was "Merciless" and only fed on the dying and made sure they stay dead....I am not sure just gathering my observations to that conclusion...maybe depending on the potency of a vampire's lineage determines the success of a vampire bite in turning people...
Here's a tip when fighting her at about half her health she will go to the middle to drink the guys blood to get all her health back so just beat her to it and get it out of the way so that you dont have to have a round 2 it will make the fight much easier.
You know what? I played this game before (the cracked version). And I realized that this game is so good although it kinda underrated. Then I decided to buy the legit copy from Steam, because I hope I can support the developer, and make them release the sequel. Amen.

imo easily one of the most underrated games of all time. combat is way more fun and fluid than i thought (level stamina early) skills are fun to use and the choices you make in the story are impactful and i never wanted to skip cutscenes or anything. i really think this is a masterpiece even better than most newer gen games i’ve played. Mary’s fight is amazing and super fun when you parry her with a 2 handed.
